That’s what gets me. Replace him with Lawson, or someone who’s driven in f1 before and I can actually understand it. Replacing him with a ROOKIE??? That’s the ultimate insult. I’ve really not been a fan of Vowles and how hes handled this year

I like James but this combined with that crazy amount of excitement for Carlos gave me a bit of an ick 😅 (I get Carlos is a big deal for him but the way he spoke about him was as if his other driver, green flag Alex, did not exist)

And let’s be real here, if Carlos had had a chance with Red Bull, Merc or Aston he wouldn’t have even given Williams the time of day. He was desperate and had no other choice (let’s not even pretend Alpine is remotely a serious option with all their problems). So idk where James has suddenly got all this misplaced confidence from tbh

Just reminded me that James also said he thinks he has the best driver combination on the grid with Alex and Carlos, his ego really is increasing by the minute 😅
