Makes sense. It also made me wonder if being a footballer is a lot more stressful than we think. Like dealing with constant criticism from the media, fans and maybe their own teammates, anxiety about under performing, etc.

i never said it did?

clearly they know going into this career that they’re going to be subject to criticism, it’s part and parcel of the job.

pretty sure anyone that works for the NHS has a more stressful job than them. they get paid hundreds and thousands a week to kick a ball around. sure they might get anxiety and be stressed, but lots of people feel that way in jobs that pay significantly less.
 
He can afford to buy a decent SPF, I think Becks has aged really poorly but started to have filler or botox, hey at least Stones won’t age too much 🤣

True! He is happy to be back at his boyhood club. All going well he shall retire there.

His contract is for R$800K that's roughly £110K until Dec 2023.
