What an utterly tit year for Liverpool. On top of Covid and almost half of the squad being out with potentially career ending injuries for long periods of time, there has been so much tragedy off the pitch. Klopp’s mother passed away, as did Alisson’s father and now Fabinho’s father 😔 feel so much for these poor players who can’t travel to attend the funerals of their loved ones 😢 really is a reminder that football is nowhere near as deep as we all make it out to be when compared to what goes on off the pitch

Absolutely. In the grand scheme of things, they have the same problems as us all don't they 😒 condolences to all those who have lost loved ones. Absolutely brutal to be apart from your family and be unable to travel to pay your respects and support your family.

Looks like Leah went to Rome then. Kinda glad she’s gone she was my least favourite Chelsea WAG tbh 😅
I don’t really like Leah but just speaking on this situation in general… it can’t be nice when you’ve got to up and pack your bags and leave your family and friends to go and live in another country. Of course, I don’t feel sorry for them - life of lavish, expensive cars, mansions and £££. But, when you kind of have no choice and it all happens very quickly, it can’t always be easy. I’m very much a family/friends person and couldn’t imagine being so far away from them, all alone and no friends.

I find it hard to not judge those who dont want the vaccine because of seeing covid first hand.
But I do in a way get what they think, as thankfully so many younger people who get it have no symptoms etc
I just worry as you can't guarantee you wont be one of the unlucky ones. I just hope everyone vaccine or not stays well

She can hop on a private jet any time she wants and get home in less than 3hs. Not that difficult! It's not like they moved to a different continent...

Pulsic has said he fully vaccinated on his IG post just now.
I wonder if Chelsea are encouraging their players to post it. They were one of the first clubs to mention supporting vaccine passports for fans going to Stamford Bridge.

He can only advise them doesn't mean they have to. Plus their own sponsors will want posts.
The sponsors are pretty powerful.

The BBC summary -
‘Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic has tested positive for coronavirus and will miss Sunday's Premier League game at Arsenal.

The United States international had not been training this week and Blues boss Thomas Tuchel confirmed that the midfielder was self isolating.
"He is not training or available for the game," said Tuchel.

Pulisic wrote on Instagram that he is fully vaccinated and had "no symptoms so far".

Meanwhile, Hakim Ziyech and N'Golo Kante are both back in training and could feature in the north London derby.

"Hakim and N'Golo were both in training today, and did everything to be in training today and had absolutely no problems," Tuchel added.

"But they need another more physical, intense training session with the team.

"We can decide after that, but right now it seems very positive that both can be in the squad for Sunday." ‘

I think Barcelona will quit La Liga in the next few Years due to a combination of debt and the likelihood that Spain is going to have some form of civil war.

Becuase the tensions between Catalonia and the Madrid are going to get worse and worse and it’s likely the next Goverment of Spain will attempt to divide Catalonia - if that happens I can’t see Barca wanting to play in La Liga for several reasons.

I suspect after Grealish every single top player Will now demand one is added to a new contract.

I don’t think they’re uncommon and some clubs probably don’t disagree with it too often. From years of Football Manager experience I’ve put them contracts in order to keep star players. Mostly it’s in hope that the price is so large that it would be rare for it to be met/activated. That was probably true in years past but there’s tons of money in football now so anything is possible.

Wow! That doesn't shout "look at me" does it? Another new trend? Get a pair of trousers and cut out holes to show off some skin and probably show you are not wearing knickers unless a very small thong! Blimey
FFS. I’m such a twit. I thought she had just pulled her trousers underneath her hips and those were her knickers. Didn’t realise they were cut outs. 🤪
Maybe I’m just old.
Good thing I wasn’t trying to copy her style. 😬
