I’d love to know some, I only know the obvious of what’s been happening with him recently. I’m very sheltered and miss everything 🤣

Sunday was always my recovery day even when I was a club kid! I can't imagine being out after 9pm on a Sunday these days and I don't even drink anymore! :LOL:

Premier League clubs and ECA members set to restrict players going to 'red-list' countries for World Cup Qualifiers

Argentina, Brazil and Egypt are on the red list; Premier League stars including Alisson Becker, Emiliano Martinez and Thiago Silva could miss World Cup Qualifiers in South America, so too PSGs Lionel Messi and Neymar; Liverpools Mohamed Salah would be prevented from playing for Egypt

Pretty sure Fifa will enforce their rules And clubs and players will get punished. Due to the nature of Fifa they won’t want to annoy Affricain and South Amercain FA’s who could easily get rid of Infatino

And European’s FA’s won’t want to be seen as not pushing Fifa to punish because their always fear clubs will slowly start to use it for other excuses. Remember the ECA is hated by pretty much every single FA in Europe.

And Fifa is mad enough to say to clubs that if you can’t take on your Goverment that is your fault.

Salah isn’t going to be playing in Egypt, it’s been confirmed. He might be able to play certain games that are in other countries but even that may be unlikely.

The Egypt FA know Fifa response will be we can’t do anything except Ban Salah from 1-3 league games. And I think Fifa might well attempt that hoping it forces government’s to accede to the clubs demands.

The south Amercain response will be key - FIFA will watching becuase those associations are more powerful and will really really push for players to be banned. Brazil has a crazy president who could easily cause a lot of trouble by getting involved.

And FIFA know the FA here would have to back them if they did try and suspend players or lose any chance of winning the bid for 2030.

With all due respect not one of your outrageous statements or theories on this thread have ever ended up being true. Salah is not going to be banned from any league games, I think I’ll just stick with the facts thanks 👍🏼

The other month FIFA apparently reminded clubs that stopping Players for even for Valid Covid reasons will be punished as the rules allow which is a ban for league games. Fifa have no real other option to keep South American FA’s onside.

The clubs might well try and push for fines instead if they can’t escape a punishment but not sure how that will go down in Brazil and other places where it might become more than just a football story.

Sky Sports are now saying the clubs might face sanctions by Fifa.
