Oh I totally agree Irish. There was never a chance of Harry ever declaring for us but I was just pointing out that Greenbush wasn't 100% incorrect there (y)

Bamford actually played once for the Irish under 18’s before a few Junior appearances for England.


According to reports it will be a back five for England tonight with Trippier replacing Saka.

I’d be happy with that- Italy will attack us more than any team so far so having the 3 at the back with tripper and shaw to drop back if needed Making a back 5 makes sense- they can all spread the ball wide with those 2 with rice and Phillips dropping back to cover! All makes sense.

As a Villa fan he’s always taking it too far, most of us work with Blues/Baggies fans and can still not be b*ll*nds.

As for how people know what he’s like. Well he knows a lot of people and a lot of people talk, it doesn’t take a genius to see he loves attention and he’s the definition of Jack the lad!

Personally I know people who live in the village/toy town where he crash that car multiple times, whilst wearing slippers and attending an all night party stinking of booze.

I don’t know how many times we’ve had to correct people about this fraud… As if we’re on here taking time out of our day to make things up about the little scruff. Anyway enjoy the match. @misscl4

A very high dislike to like ratio on the BBC so if it doesn’t work it be the main focus of the match aftermath for the Press unless some other controversy can be blamed.

Around the time he split with his wife he was involved with Bianca Westwood from Sky Sports. There’s even a compromising photo of them in a jacuzzi out there on the internet 🙈 He’s now dating someone from Dancing on Ice.

I have friends in a few roles in Irish football (nobody famous or especially important!) and that was their general view is Bamford was never going to play for Ireland. It’s common enough at under 17/18 level for people to come into a one-off squad.

Surely at this point in the tournament you have to say Southgate knows what he’s doing 😂 The line up English fans wanted before the tournament wouldn’t have worked as well IMO.

Yeah that’s true 😂 I was just a bit confused as to why saka wasn’t starting as I was so sure he would, but the starting line up has a lot of experienced players and the likes of saka, grealish, Sancho etc would be good to come on later. If the games not going well Southgate needs to bring them on a lot sooner than he did last time I’m telling you now 😭 Henderson as well should be playing a decent amount tonight in my opinion.
 
I haven’t read all these threads, but I’m guessing it’s odds on that Harry Maguires rather plain sister will end up with a footballer soon (unless she is already linked to someone- anyone) she’s at everything going atm like she’s a member of the team. I only saw her coz she’s always appearing on my fecking insta, and shes deffo thinking shes something she’s not!

Glad its not just me that thinks it, she goes about like she is a wag. She’s bloody everywhere, I mean I get its her brother and she’s proud but she seems a bit OTT about it all compared to other siblings.

She’s at the games supporting her brother playing in one of the biggest tournaments in football? As is the rest of his family and the families of every single other player 🤔

That’s fair! I guess I just really admire how he has ignored public pressure to start Foden and Grealish.

Me too. Mind you I have been screaming at my TV at times for him to bring grealish on but it’s always worked out fine so I’m sure he knows what he’s doing tonight, as long as he doesn’t pull a pep and bottle it at the last hurdle 😂😭

Grealish works well as a super sub. His pace is less of an issue 60 minutes in. I’d say 90% of England wouldn’t have picked Sterling against Croatia but he was the man they needed.

Anyway I’m off now to learn the lyrics of the Italian national anthem 😜

She never seems to let go of Fearne Hawkins. Maybe I’m just viewing it different, but it’s the constant London, I’m out here there and everywhere stuff, a bit more ‘notice me’ then it being about Harry. Maybe love island 2022 beckons….
i mean be proud and that but it doesn’t mean you have to keep reminding people who you are 🙄 and I should say that comes from her being involved with everything like soccer aid etc. Only one way someone who did semi perm make up got on to that, and thats through connections, sod working your way through the tv industry
