Tranexamic acid is a lifesaver - if you can take it
I’m not doing well. I had to go out to get a present for little kid with biglittle and while I’ve just about held it together for them I keep feeling like I can’t feel my legs and I’m going to faint from panic. Christmas is not going to be anything like normal this year. The kids are going to not be able to have their big present and I haven’t sorted stocking stuff or anything. My big kids won’t be getting all the stuff I do for them normally either and while I know they’re not going to get mad I still feel really sad
Do you have an air purifier? We have several and they do help. You can also put the cat on allergy food.I’m so allergic to the bloody cat thanks ME, for making sure I can’t have nice things.
At the risk of being completed it, mate, any ideas? I’m hoovringgthe air as the Dyson has a hepa filter apparently. I’m on beconase twice a day and washing my hands. My eyes nose and mouth are all still itching.
Ideally I’d like an injection or mega medicine of some kind.
That bagpuss wont escape! I could leave the front door open, he wouldn’t bother. Because he needs to spend his time sitting next to me on the sofa…Can you get mesh screens for your windows and blast some air through? Risky with an escapologist, though. And not the best time of year, either.
Yup it’s definitely that, he doesn’t bother much with my bedroom. I’m fine in there. It's the saliva or dander you are allergic to. I remember watching a BBC documentary on it.
One of the most common allergens.
Cats being v licky create loads. I feel im being a bit mean near Xmas but they are facts.
Hope things start to look up for you soon Grifty ❤I know it’s not the same but amazon sell pre filled stockings that could be personalised a bit with their favourite sweets , or even homemade vouchers to redeem for stuff like being allowed to have ice cream for breakfast one Saturday morning ( can you tell I have used this one on the past , forgot to specify it was for a weekend and had to send a very hyper kid into school ) or a cinema ticket that admits them to sofa screen one for their choice of film and snacks .
When my eldest 2 were younger, I relied massively on Santa IOU’s - Santa would leave vouchers for a toy, a book, a day trip etc and a note explaining that their had been a magical mix ups - one year Rudolph sneezed which scattered their presents across the year , another year Santa had forgotten to turn off the snow machine and all the presents had frozen to the grotto floor . if I ask my kids what are their best Christmas memories are ,they will talk about Santa IOU’s, even now they are know it was due to me not being able to afford to get everything in dec , both in terms of money and time . this year Santa IOU’s are back although the big vouchers are for driving lessons rather than family days out, and hours extensions to curfews rather than movie nights with mum.
I’m not doing presents as such for the younger 4 , because they will 100% get spoiled by family, the OG twins will be more interested in wrapping paper and boxes and Ducklings - the new generation don’t have any concept of presents yet, on account of the fact they haven’t even discovered they have hands yet
I love uncle buck!As there was Xmas film chat. 1989 John candy classic uncle buck is about to start on ITV2.
Dunno how it's Christmas apart from some rubbish snow and it being freezing. Always show it tho.
ETA - I will well up.
Thanks, he has special urinary food but this looks like it might be ok. He’s also off his biscuits lately so he might fancy a changePURINA® PRO PLAN® LIVECLEAR® Adult 1+ Sterilised Allergen Reducing Dry Cat Food | Shop Now

Still belting down and traffic hasn’t let up.
Just as well I didn’t go out (warning TMI behind spoiler) had a massive period flooding incident I can’t get away with hiding them anymore and the place is so rammed certain would have been seen. Am dry now too which is a bonus.
Pan of scouseTook @HotesTilaire 's advice and made a massive pan of scouse and ate it all. I've turned the bell off, i've locked the door from the inside and I'm gonna have a night to myself. Tomorrow is the first time since I got out of hospital I don't have to get up for anything so I'm gonna sleep off some stress.
Best part of the day was going to say thanks to the staff at the hipster-cafe-by-day-gay-bar-by-night who stopped me jumping into a freezing river last friday. They were sound.
did me xmas shopping in about 10 mins last night in the end

Dear ❤ Laz, old pupster Laz was a legend ❤Truly.
we got a lovely Christmas bauble for our tree with a photo of him inside it. He’s wearing one of his many Christmas outfits in the photo. I wish I could show you it because I just know it would make you swoon. He’s forever my true love, much like you and your precious angel too xxx

Yes, this one was an expert counter surfer - they’re so long in the body that when they reach up they can get their paws right on the counter and with such a long snoot they can nudge food right over to where they need it to be.
He certainly kept me on my toes, that’s for sure.
