He’s so bleeping patronising. It’s not the 1950s FOD, women do earn their own money and can buy what they like. duck off you did not nearly cry when she’s bought it, you thought (or were told by Glen) ‘this would be good for the gram’

I bet he wouldn't have mind how expensive that bag was if it had just been #gifted to his racist wife by the brand like in the gold good old days when everything was just #gifted to them (clothes, holidays, teeth, pictures, phones...) A brand new Gucci marmont flap bag is around £900, that colour and fabric probably would have gone into sale tbh so she may have gotten it cheaper. I know it’s all relative and sensitive to the current economic climate but in terms of expensive/luxury bags it’s really one of the cheapest on the market. So it’s even more embarrassing seeing him do the big I am over buying it for her.

Tbh even weirder as she has at least two Chanel bags (iirc?) which would have been at least £3-4k a pop, assuming she bought those when she was taking home 5 x what he does? 🤷🏻‍♀️💅🏻

It’s just tragic. A pair of shoes in a shoe box & a pretty naff bag? I love Gucci but those marmont or Soho bags are rich sixth former bags, like the bags they’ll pester their parents to buy them for their 18th or a level results. Obvs grown women have them too but they’re not the status symbol FOD so desperately wants them to be? I wonder why he’s feeling so insecure?

She always struggled with fashion content cos she couldn’t really dress, even copying the cool ex-mag mums with the laid back yet chic Breton etc she just looked like a ragamuffin. Idk what FOD is really going for with this content - it’s not like he can get affiliate link kickback on a 5 year old bag?
 
Those with real wealth would carry a designer bag casually, it wouldn't occur to them to draw people's attention to it in any way.

The £900 spent on a bag for Clemmie could enable all four children to have their choice of an ice lolly from the shop while they're out (instead of those budget multipack lollies he brings in a cool bag), once or twice a week all summer long for their entire childhoods and more.

I actually find it gross that they're showing off about the "$$$" (did he pay in dollars?) cost of the bag while penny-pinching when it's the children. This isn't the first time either.

Priorities, eh?

Clemmie’s private account existed prior to TattleGate, I think, but it’s no good for affiliate links. She needs a large, unsavvy audience who believes she is aspirational to click her links.

(And I snigger typing ‘Clemmie’ and ‘affiliate links’ in the same sentence, as Clemmie positioned herself with celebrity endorsements, not basic influencers with their grubby hidden affiliate links.)

I think the clemmie_2020 private account his different to her private account prior to TattleGate...
She is desperately trying to come back, not sure what the hospital she works at would think of it?! As I am not sure they would tolerate bad publicity from Clemmie the racist a second time...
