I use a VPN. You can select any country you want. It's not a real crime like what Josh Duggar has done where his computer was searched by the FBI.

My sister would have ALSO totally taken the fall for me in this situation. :sneaky:

All of these hun friendships seemed so fake anyway. They don't like me. No real loss. :cool:

(Think I do have the hallmark to be a real influencer.)

I reckon it was this too….loose free champagne racist lips sink insta ships!

I think all the hack hacked/someone stole my laptop/someone stole my log on/my sister did it/my dog did it blah blah makes it more obvious they did it. Like that fellow racist estate agent from Savills who made the racist comments after the Euros but then tried to lie his way out of it.

I’d have gone full on denial and said that I was worried I had a stalker who’d followed me out to St Lucia…would have completely denied it unless there was no way I couldnt. I reckon there was some concrete evidence that she’d done it - like @Sweettutu said, she probably got pissed and admitted it to her insta mates, thinking it was funny that she was fooling all the trolls. Then they probably sobered up and searched her account and found that she’d also been slagging them all off.

Man I would loooooove for one of them to release the screenshots from their WhatsApp chats during that time!

I guess you’re right. Although I think if she’d made a proper apology (with a few tears and a promise to educate herself) and rode it out, the ‘brand’ would be in a better position today. She never really seemed properly sorry for what she’d done.

I’m not saying that I would’ve believed her or even that that would have been the right thing to do, but I was a bit surprised how easily she gave it up. I haven’t checked on Susie Verill recently but I believe she’s still on IG.

Agree completely! She could have done the rounds on the podcast circuit too - so many topics, unlearning our socialised racism / owning up to racism / cancel culture / toxic IG culture and come out still getting brand deals.

Suspect she thought she was SO far above Candice that it would be a non issue? But also how bizarre how could Candice’s presence at these events even have bothered her this much, we’ve all worked with people we think are bellends (ignoring the racism here btw) but I’ve managed to not sign up to forums to chat about them?! Who cares you’re getting paid to be there if it’s that bad just run off and hide in the loo???

Absolutely! She could have completely made a comeback. Big apology, accept the hate comments for a while and gradually work her way back up. But they were too arrogant for that. Hoped it would blow over, which it didn’t. Yes she would still have a tattle thread but we wouldn’t have a leg to stand on regarding her racism as long as she’d made a genuine apology and shown that she was trying to educate herself to be better.
But here we are nearly 3 years down the line, still discussing the racism, and their brand is still getting ads/affiliations cancelled/recalled because they never addressed it.

I remember a couple of threads ago, there were links provided to that girl who was one of the original mummy blogger children, and she was saying how her childhood was ruined because of it. That was back in the days of weekly blogposts - it seems so much more harmful now that we have insta stories, and information seems to be shared so much more. I really do feel sorry for the hooper children. (Note to add, I went to uni with a child actor and we used to rinse him for it so much (despite being best mates), even though there was nothing embarrassing online, it’s just what 18 year olds do - the older kids will be absolutely eaten alive when they go to uni)
 
Post on house account. I don't understand how you can be working from home (on conference calls) and tiling? When I worked from home it was full on all the time and no time for personal hobbies.

The post is also riddled with errors so I wouldn't want him working on anything to fo with me. And it's not yet sort of post I would expect from this man.

Bizarre as he’s agency side where there’s such emphasis on billable hours, if your time isn’t billed to a client code it flags as you being under resourced and enough consecutive weeks of that and questions will be asked about why you’re not getting booked on projects 😬
