You forgot the shopping for fake antiques and never ending meals out and about!
And the trips to HoHo Farmhouse and Daylesford for overpriced veggies……

Oh Gawd….. can’t you just hear him droning on and on and on……?

That’s why I go away for Christmas also being Jewish is a good enough excuse to avoid the chaos it brings. Family by marriage you can’t stand normally but end up being stuck with. People moaning, endlessly waiting for a Christmas dinner that by the time you eat you’ve waited so long you’ve lost your appetite also the boring conversations around the sofa. It wasn’t always so tit when the kids were young it was a fun time for them, in my youth and before I got married we’d celebrate Christmas the Hungarian way, my parents loved a good festival even if it wasn’t Jewish they were never strict or completely observing. Having teetotal parents who loved music it was always musical, joyful and anybody was welcome providing you were cheerful and up for singing and dancing. Dad on the violin, my Mum on the piano, me on the Cimbalom, my crystalline soprano sister demonstrating her wide range to sing pentatonic scales, @PettyBettyBoop you’ll know about that. Everybody harmonizing and singing traditional songs. We’d have up to 100 once strangers as well as friends but my parents bless them never considered anybody a stranger only a new friend. I miss those days, as I can’t recreate it a sandy beach with a sunbed has my name on it, Germans back off! That towel on that sunbed is MINE!

Oh nice! We had planned to visit Namibia this year but of course Covid had other plans.
I got lucky in that respect to go but unlucky as my G-d did it cost a lot and all the bloody tests and jabs. Not to mention the Health insurance and the bullshit rules of returning home. The test companies really are taking the piss with their prices. Hope you get to go soon with less stress than my experience ❤️

I discovered, quite by accident, this Youtube channel: True Self Wardrobe - YouTube I like her - she is honest in her videos and although she is selling bits and bobs she does make lovely relaxing videos and does not make a profit. But more importantly I love her ethos when buying clothes (even the clothes she is selling). Josie we know you read here so read this and take it on board:

Think before you buy: • At least 2-3 specific occasions you could wear the item for • At least 2-3 outfit combinations with existing items already in your wardrobe • Is it a duplicate of something you already own? If yes, why is this piece better if at all?

Thank you so much. I haven’t travelled at all in the last 2 years. So I am definitely nervous about even planning one.

So is it normal for Joho to go off flogs at this time of year (insta has been rehashed flogging)? Or is Joho covering up the omi and the symptoms she had when she was flogging around London and setting up the dinning table for her house guests … ?
Good question - she did have SO MANY guests so it's very likely they have covid as this recent strain is SOOOOO contagious you can get it so much more easily even if triple vaxed. I mean I don't know many families in the US who don't have at least one member who had covid over the past 2 weeks and that was before the Xmas/NYE gathering positives... note ALL of the people I know were vaxed so luckily the symptoms were mild or just a fever. Even our schools have so many teacher/staff out sick that they couldn't open today. Seems the best way to avoid getting it now is mask and stay home if possible...

She usually posts Tuesdays so I guess we'll see tomorrow.
