I'm very concerned with what they're going to do with the kitchen - the only room left that I like! ☹

Would be interesting explaining that to the tax man .. My old boss use to put her weekends away on expenses and say it was business. Sure their accountant would sort it for them.

Hello and welcome :)

LaLa, (strange pronunciation by J has the emphasis on the second La!!) is Josephine's mother who we suspect helped with the purchase of Ye Olde Rectum and who now lives in the garden like a little garden gnome. She also flogs lots of J & C's stuff that they have been 'kindly gifted' on EBay, used to be under the name of chibbynichol til they were rumbled so probably has now set up new accounts. Was involved in the Zimmermann scandal. See Wiki for further details.

All I could get from the latest flog was Chav and his know nothing talk a lot antics trying to hog the camera … what a bore … then she posted on her insta stories a clip of him in bed 🤢🤢🤢

Let's take a moment to fully appreciate this merching opportunity and the hideous outfit from our fashion "influencer". She's not wearing her little Amazon dress here, is she? She's standing next to the massive expensive 'clothes fridge' (that fits 3 items), wearing an expensive but ugly coordinated outfit. Aww and notice the little YSL bag there for good measure too, my darlings. Because when you clean your clothes you always take your handbag and place it in the laundry area, don't you? Did someone say affiliate links?

Wonder if the guy had said to Joho … oh big teeth need big snorkel or similar… would it be such a joke … I have little jokes with my mama but I wouldn’t share them with the world

Oh can I just add Chav’s coffee machine is ugly as is that horrible defender…. And that hair cut does not disguise your receding thinking hairline Chav !

Plus they need to filter the water they put into it. They live in a hard water area. Tap water will soon scale up the inside and ruin the machine. A simple filter jug isn't enough.

Yes, they will be claiming as much as possible for tax. The cottage is a business venture, so many expenses will be claimed as maintenance and business expenses. I fear for that kitchen too. I'm inserting a pic here of Josefiend on the beg on Freddy's video. I have mentioned before how Josie is always quick to use her influencer "friend's" posts for her own gain. Here she commented very quickly on Freddy's post, on the beg for marble.

Omg what on earth do they have planned for this kitchen. I shudder to think about it after her other rooms have been hacked.
 
A little recap, here we go. As already mentioned it's a long vlog - 1:15:57 . 13 seconds in and we hear "autumnal". Oh, how she has been pining to merch Autumn!

For the first two minutes, Charles splains so just skip that. Then there is more Autumnal blah blah blah from Josefiend.
I couldn't understand what she was getting at with her whole makeup that had to be taken off because she felt it didn't suit her. I never checked comments to see if she was hoping to engage followers in her comments. She could have simply edited it out unless she was fishing for compliments.

The Elemis advent calendar is advertised for the first 15 minutes of the vlog. The only good part about being that Josie confidently says (she only half-read something of the PR freebie literature) that Elemis collaborated with William Morris. Considering that Morriss lived and died in the 1800s this is an amazing feat indeed! She also manages to beg for some full sizes by saying how she had just finished some of her travel sizes.

From 15 to 41 mins we have the battle of the coffee machines which is a bore-fest. I am undecided if she's setting up old Charchar again for everyone to hurl abuse at the boring Splainer or if this is a very clever move from them both to attempt to get that expensive coffee machine at a discount of for free. They also subtly beg for goodies for their clearly upcoming kitchen renovation, so this could be another reason for the super long coffee begging chat.

She then quickly merches a new bracelet.

From 44 to 52 minutes they go antique shopping and they hit up good ole Dalesford. Do they always add Dalesford because she needs content, is she touting to be some Dalesford ambassador or do they already have an understanding with Dalesford? I am undecided.

At 58 mins they advertise for Lala's new gravel garden. Must be getting a discount on that obviously so need to mention the company and what a good job they are doing.

At 59 she self-importantly says "yes" several times just like The Queen as she 'interviews' Lala about the garden. The Tefal gig has gone to her head, clearly. Why does her mother not whack her on the head when she acts so stupidly? She is wearing her Valentino Rockstuds while in the garden because that is what all serious gardeners wear when gardening. :rolleyes:

At 103 mins she shows the antiques that they purchased and the ridiculous and messy table she has put together in the entrance hall. It looks like a bunch of pumpkins and old junk were tossed together randomly on a table.

She also makes sure to mention that she doesn't currently have a greenhouse. She's hoping that some company will provide one for free obviously. Let's see if anyone takes the bait.

I also noticed in the vlog that she again pretends to be pretentiously academic by asking Splainer if a saying he used was in fact correct. It was, but she then gets all muddled up by saying "luck strike twice", instead of saying lightning strikes twice. People always comment about the boring Spainer's mannerisms but don't seem to notice that she talks to Splainer all the time in the way she does to her mother in this vlog, as if she is above them somehow. Belittling is her go-to, all under the guise of the nice little princess, which she is NOT!
 
Not sure if her background has been discussed before but I have no idea where this lady of the manor act comes from.
She’s from Ross on Wye, ok granted she went to private school on the border in Wales, her dad owned a convenience shop and a van hire company in the centre of town which probably footed the bill, but her family are from the Forest of Dean which really isn’t worth shouting about except for its nice scenic walks… Her family were Herefordshire-esque comfortable but nowhere near the facade she puts on as if she were brought up in Buckingham Palace 😂😂😂😂

Yet again she was the first commenter on Freddy's birthday vlog. Urgh, I don't even follow Freddy (except for the odd mini Versailles flat video) but now find myself snooping in the comments to check on our Josefiend. Clearly, I have too much time on my hands of late.

Some interesting comments about how Josie "acts" so differently in Freddy's vlogs, compared to the way she appears in her own vids, all lady Downton Abey and all. Of course, Josie pulls out all the girly rubbish in desperation for younger subscribers. She's bloomin' tired of us lot here.
