Well look at the picture above, she's cleaning the room and the bag is casually on the floor. They way she stuffed her own luxury bags with dirty heels. I don't think she is a clean person.
It completely baffled me how she put the bags with all the old stuff in them into her new wardrobe. Or did I get that wrong?
I mean, even moving with all that old stuff (the Venus razors, cutlery etc.) without clearing them out and cleaning them would feel so wrong to me. I couldn't take them to my new place like that.
But leaving them like that for five months? And now even putting them into that brand-new wardrobe with that old trash still in them? It feels like a sacrilege. You can burn candles there as much as you like to create a good atmosphere, the place still feels wrong if you have that old rubbish in there. Why did she not take those five minutes to clear them out?
I may be wrong because I couldn't really see it in the video, but I do think she just put those large bags in there without sorting through the things first.
Someone commented on the video that she should get a hand bag drawer where you put all the things you need on a daily basis, so you clear out your bag in the evening, put all the things in a drawer and the next day, when you take a new hand bag, you put the things into that one. That is a tip from a Marie Kondo book and I do this myself and think it makes it much easier to be organised because you don't leave a trail of stuff behind in all of your different hand bags. She also advises to group things and put them into little bags, e.g. makeup bags etc.
But Josie just commented "Good tip" or something like that and didn't engage further.
I saw a number of other influencers advertising those hand bag organizers that are basically inserts with lots of little pockets, so you can organize your things and you just take out the whole insert and put it into another bag when you change bags. I ordered one of those now because I live out of my large hand bag all day at work and I still have a problem because I take too long to find specific things. This is something that makes me follow an influencer: When they advertise things that really are useful for my daily life and when they recommend things that have a connection to the life of real women.
I think we know by now that Josie doesn't really take care of her things, but I still found it disappointing and the level of disorganization in her hand bags a little shocking.
On the one hand I like that she doesn't present herself as perfect in all levels of her life, and that you can see she is human because she shows us such unflattering things. But it still makes me cringe because the hand bag issue is something that you can remedy so quickly and it just seems so careless and not appreciative of her nice things at all - things that most people never can afford and would treasure so much if they could just own one item like that.
