LADS.. I'm delighted there's a thread on this.
Who needs panto when we have Fair City, eh?

Cristiano and his new fella are basically married, I know us gays move fast but this one takes the biscuit!
...and where do you leave Mondo's daughter Juliet - she has to be one of the most annoying/worst actresses in the world. A face and an accent you want to wallop!

Doug and Ericka are like something from Jobstown Community Centre's Christmas panto - I bleeping love when 8pm comes around, best laugh all day!!

Agree with all of the above!! Love FC even though not all acting is Oscar worthy. They’re good enough for me. I also love FC celeb spotting. You come across the actors everywhere.

I think Lucy plays the part of nutter very well. She looks pretty and innocent one minute and then crazy eyes the next.

I don’t understand why everyone else is so thick though!? It’s obvious all the crazy things started happening when she showed up.

Yeah, I actually think Lucy is a decent actress, as is Carol. For me, the decent actors are:
Lucy, Carol, Orla, Paul, Jane, Dolores...all the oldies!

Erica and Doug are the worst, by far. Juliet is a close second... then Cristiano...member your man from Ms. Browns Boys - Jesus christ, how did he ever get an acting job. Will was woeful as well.
Ah good ole fair city - wonder what the christmas story line will be? It'll defo involve Lucy trying to murder Dolores - poor ole Dolores has had a shocking life.

On a (very weird) side note, I kinda fancy Paul Brennan!

Ah Dolores is a shockin actor..half the time she looks like shes havin a stroke with all the faces she makes! Have to agree Lucy is great...goes from sweet and innocent to mad evil in a split second...deffo her and dolores is the xmas storyline

I do agree about Dolores, the faces! Although she looks great, she defo had a facelift!
Member Rita - pissed herself at the bottom of the stairs. Loved Rita!
 
I had a look at it when flicking through the channels during the week. OMG it is so laughable. All the actors are short of doing to actually holding the script in their hands and reading from it. I thought after all these years it might have got a bit better. Alas that is not the case. I swifly turned off again.

It's shocking, but addictive.

I wonder how much the actors get paid? I remember reading once the tops ones are only on about 50k...so I'd imagine the majority of cast are on far less.

Oh I dunno I was born in 1972 and I would have put him at late 70s.

My theory on Bronagh's pregnancy non story was the actress was told to turn up and someone forgot and the scriptwriting team threw a story together. I do like a conspiracy 😇
