Oh it was definitely a penalty, no arguing that. But that was insanely harsh compared to recent penalty form. Which is part of the issue with inconsistency with race direction and stewarding.

lewis is so OVER this whole thing isn’t he? i can’t remember who posted similar earlier but i really am intrigued to see what headspace he’s going to be in at ferrari.

That’s why I asked how long his contract with them is. He seems to be over the sport at the moment, it can’t all be car related surely

i hope so he loves fred (and fred loves him), and i can see a lot of what ferrari is and represents will really work for him. i’m so up and down on how i think he and charles are going to work together though

The stewarding/race direction needs looking at - it shouldn’t be having this much of an effect on races

there’s a hell of a flight from vegas to Qatar so jet leg must be awful

Wonder if they are going to be more harsh now since the just added time as penalties didn’t do much harm - but was both cases really a case of a stop and go one? The yellow flag maybe but the pit lane speeding?

Because Lewis is so done and after what Lewis said in Brazil about being done with the season. He didn't want to finish the season.
