The irony of timing for RB though - Horner feeling so confident and like the only father of their success and probably contributing to Adrian leaving. and their advantage points wise is the smallest in 3 years I think, with Adrian allegedly participating less in technical meetings/stuff... now, when his contribution might turn out to be crucial...😅

Evening all from a rainy farm guesthouse.

I'm on a college event in the absolute middle of nowhere and bored out of my head. It's been utterly torrential rain, there's roadworks everywhere, I've been absolutely drenched through.

Although I may be slightly exaggerating on being in the absolute middle of nowhere, it certainly feels like it to me. Have I done a 20 mile round trip for a Starbucks and Verstappened it on the way back so my hot choco is still warm? Yes. Am I used to being walking distance of both back home? Also yes.

I'm a town girl through and through. The semi-rural life is not for me. I'm completely used to having everything on my doorstep.

On a more relevant note, I can't wait for the 26 season to see how it all unfolds. As bad as it sounds I'm really hoping the wheels fall off of the Red Bull. I hope it closes the gap between all the teams and makes things more close. We shall see

I grew up in a village where all we had was a post box and telephone box - showing my age there!!! I used to love it but now living near town with everything on the doorstep not sure I could do it now!!

Apparently Carlos & manager where spotted at Williams, for which a board member flew in 😇

and Kimi was quicker then Georgie on the silverstone test - not sure how true that it and how good he is at setting up the car / giving the right feedback as newbies (did he had to do any setups himself) - can’t wait for that Merc battle next year, when you think you move up to no 1 to be beaten by a newbie and have to be unsure if you have a seat in 26 (Maxie says hi) 😂

I thought i saw that he was better than Mick not George, but maybe i missed something 😅 And i am always very careful with the testing times especially since DR came back because "he would have been on the front row next to Max" and look at him today, not even able to fight Yuki 😅

I will be sad to see Carlos at the back of the grid but maybe it is a good opportunity for him to help rebuild the team (a little like what he did in McLaren with Lando). And it is better than being in the Stake right now. I know everyone is fantasizing on Audi in 2026 but i have a lot of doubts. Yes they will probably be able to provide a good engine but i am not sure about the car itself. The engineers will be the same as the ones at Stake now and they just don't know how to develop a car. Add to that that James Key is their technical director (and look at how good McLaren is doing since he left), that doesn't give me too much hope i am afraid 😕

I am sorry to disappoint but non agression pact in French is Pacte de non aggresion so it doesn't change much 😅
I think they will just give them a good told off and that they will now have strict rules about not fighting and the one in front have will have the better strategy etc every weekend.

Tbf i feel like this has been blowed out of proportions, especially by british médias for one and only reason: "trancher dans le vif" (what Famin said on Canal) doesn't have an accurate translation in English. So the médias all went with their own choices of words to make it looks way more dramatic than what was really said 😂
