I don’t think ekin is quite good at using social media because Maura was the same age as her when she entered love island and was insanely popular both during her time on the villa and on the outside and was able to maintain her followers and brand deals. I do remember ekin saying she didn’t want to be an influencer because her main focus is to become an actress but I wonder if she really is a great actress because if she was, did she have to rely on love island for exposure? Also, what if some casting agents are put off by her for being on reality tv?

Ekin looks at least 10 years old than Maura.
Also, I feel Ekin looks quite mumsy?
She just simply doesn't appeal to the demographic that the likes of Maura or Tasha would

She’ll never be a real actress because she clearly can’t act. I can’t see her being cast based on her awful filler/plastic surgery either.

I really feel like Tom & Sammie were one of the fakest couples in Love Island history. Dropping the L word and making each other boyfriend and girlfriend official then breaking up just weeks later. There has been couples in the finals before that didn’t seem 100% like they’d go the distance - Amber and Greg for example, but at least they didn’t patronise the viewers into dropping the L bomb. Sammie and Tom seem like quite superficial people following this announcement and really they’ve just admitted they’ve duped the viewers for a bit of extra clout - gross behaviour.

Ok I’ve changed my mind about ekinde (and I was one of the people that liked her and Davide together and posted on the rave thread!).

It’s just getting painful to watch at this point. The forced girly advice, the forced relatable stories about loving chocolate, the forced make up ads. She was great on LI but it’s clear she’s quite insecure and it’s not fun to watch. It shows all over her face that she’s down. I still root for her but I don’t know if it’s gonna happen for her.

Everyone was right about Davide too, if he wasn’t Italian, I’d be cringing way more at his zoolander stares into the camera. I do like their vlogs and think they have chemistry but he’s obviously done something wrong or they would’ve denied that girls story completely

She got away with a lot because she is pretty. Young girls look up to her as they want to be just like her. I do think she’ll be one of the few from S9 who will do well because she is very pretty. Good looks can get you far.
