Ekin is just so irrelevant. Quite liked her in the villa but she was in a series that lacked personality. Since leaving, Indiya and Tasha have done so much better at cementing their brands. Tasha is all over TikTok cos of her coachella outfits and indiya has done presenting and is really good at the socials. Skin had dancing on ice, but flopped, and it’s a dead show anyway. I think she’s slightly too old to be popular with younger ones, also not good at social media, she comes across cringe. Think she just needs to find her thing. She’s bloody beautiful though so she will have a million options, just think she hasn’t found her niche yet.

Maybe she should be rebranded to 'Skin'. It might help her brand lol.

I can't believe how much of a flop she has been. She was a firecracker in the villa, but as you say the villa lacked any personality or interesting characters so she naturally outshone everyone. But in real life she just seems to fake and like she's trying to be this persona that just isn't her. For someone who was seemingly so confident, she looks so awkward and uncomfortable in these guises that she is trying to adopt.

I really liked her in the villa and was rooting for her to win (Davide by default). I hope she can find her niche and groove like Indiya and Tasha have done and engage with a brand or product that works for her.

Precisely, what happened. She changed her hair colour and personality all in one swoop.

I don’t think ekin is quite good at using social media because Maura was the same age as her when she entered love island and was insanely popular both during her time on the villa and on the outside and was able to maintain her followers and brand deals. I do remember ekin saying she didn’t want to be an influencer because her main focus is to become an actress but I wonder if she really is a great actress because if she was, did she have to rely on love island for exposure? Also, what if some casting agents are put off by her for being on reality tv?

I don’t think it’s the casting agents that would be put off, but the actors and actresses that have worked hard for years to get where they are, wouldn’t be happy.
I remember people being mad when AJ and Curtis got cast in Hollyoaks
