I don't care if we lose Azerbaijan, but I don't want to lose Romania as I've enjoyed many of their entries.

If we do lose countries next year, I would like to see the EBU make extra efforts to bring back some countries that do not participate any more - Hungary, Andorra, Luxembourg, Turkey spring to mind. It's easier said than done, unfortunately.

I live for the day Morocco participates again (only did once in 1980) but not hopeful - supposedly they and other North African/Middle Eastern countries will not enter while Israel remains in the competition.

It's difficult to speculate about. Ukraine got an overwhelming 439 points from the people. If it wasn't for the war and those 439 points would have been distrubuted to other countries, they would have most likely been distrubuted to the two second most voted songs by the people, which was Spain and Moldova, followed by Serbia as a third.

And some of them might have gone to the UK as well so this speculation is a bit pointless now.

But the war happened and Ukraine got 439 televote points so all the speculation is irrelevant.

More details about the semi final 2 voting. It looks like all six colluded together (as opposed to individually) and placed the other 5 top 5 in their jury voting. Absolute madness if it's true and pretty insulting to the artists that they themselves decided to send.
