Silly me thought that cage opened mechanically rather than blokes sneaking on stage to lower it :LOL: this is why I love seeing non official footage 😁

Amazing stuff though. He's an absolute bloody legend ❤

I must admit that I liked the part he's dropped 'nothing but' so it's a shame that bit has been cut.
 
Love all those recent videos of Sam, that light show they've put together for the end of his act is epic and will create tremendous atmosphere. Love the side-on video with the camera men and stage hands scuttling around, and then of course you don't see any of that on the broadcast version, it's so cleverly worked out. I too thought the framework changing into a launchpad would be all clever motors and stuff, not six blokes dressed all in black :ROFLMAO: often simple is better.

Sam’s made Space Man a stage performance with the revamped ending and guitar solo so it’s not really missing anything. Only Chanel (Spain) and Sam have really done that. It’s been completely lifted from the studio version. Those notes he did in the dress rehearsal in the afternoon were out of this world. His vocal coach has done wonders for his head notes.

I honestly think San Marino is on such a roll with their entries at the moment. They're not winner material but you know they'll always provide something a bit weird

Definitely feel like Sweden is being hyped up because it's Sweden rather than the song being good. Not getting the hype with Spain. I saw someone say that for a song you're meant to dance along with it has a very messy rhythm. El Diablo and Fuego have definitely done it better
 
I don't get the Sweden hype. Obviously taste is personal and all that but the song just isn't connecting with me, I can't see why it's so acclaimed. She's a good singer and performer but the song does nothing for me. I watched the Racing Post video and they were raving about it being one of the best Eurovision songs ever.

Sweden could send something written by a five year old and still get through SFs. Because, well, it's Sweden. If this particular song came from literally any other country it would barely register with people

That song is still regularly played on German radios As well as „calm after the storm“ 😂 So I‘ guessing juries pushed it haaard

I dunno if I'm just a bit hormonal or what, but I got a bit choked up at some of the comments under that video.
