Another video of Sam, with the actual camera shots!
STOP PRESS: I’ve found it. A blogger’s actual recording from the actual audience of the actual jury rehearsal last night.
This. On a phone. He sounds bloody AMAZING!!!
Wow Sam sounded fantastic on those videos. I'm now a fan.
I must admit that I liked the part he's dropped 'nothing but' so it's a shame that bit has been cut.
I honestly think San Marino is on such a roll with their entries at the moment. They're not winner material but you know they'll always provide something a bit weirdlets put it this way - i can't wait to see san marino's viking ballad about the deep sea or something next year...
Sweden could send something written by a five year old and still get through SFs. Because, well, it's Sweden. If this particular song came from literally any other country it would barely register with peopleI don't get the Sweden hype. Obviously taste is personal and all that but the song just isn't connecting with me, I can't see why it's so acclaimed. She's a good singer and performer but the song does nothing for me. I watched the Racing Post video and they were raving about it being one of the best Eurovision songs ever.
I know they hosted that year so it was slightly different but I felt like that about Frans “If I Were Sorry”, how did that place 5th?!Sweden could send something written by a five year old and still get through SFs. Interesting video about Moldova's entry and how it was modified to fit under ESC's rules about songs being non-political.
The thing I liked about this one at the Semi Final the other night was how the audience cheered and went mad each time the fiddle and accordian blokes get their turns.
That song is still regularly played on German radios As well as „calm after the storm“ So I‘ guessing juries pushed it haaardI know they hosted that year so it was slightly different but I felt like that about Frans “If I Were Sorry”, how did that place 5th?!
