There was an older YT interview with Estee in my suggestions and the picture had this caption "The product I'm selling is myself" something like that, how fitting.

I feel like nobody should feel ashamed or embarrassed over a breakup, an engagement ending or a divorce. Buuuuut the way she went about it was terrible, then even after the guy proposed she went on a podcast tour bashing him. She kinda made her own bed and now she gets to sleep in it, I think she just doesn't want half the ppl who didn't agree with her methods to now say "told ya so".

He probably partially moved in with her into that dark tall house she lived in for a bit then they moved to a tiny apartment together that we thought was maybe a freebie as they were the first ppl to move into that building from what she was alluding to, and she was doing a lot of promos for the apartment, so maybe she got some deal or discount or even free rent... but they were together in a crammed space all the time, she'd show the mess in the kitchen and clothes everywhere, little things like that probably didn't help...

She keeps moving a lot, it's probably to erase memories of her past relationships that happened in those places.

I don't see Estee being all that upset about this broken engagement. She hasn't even taken a break from YouTube to come to terms with it. Not really surprising since she was never in love with this guy. She didn't even like him. She barely tolerated him. I think she was far more cut up about the Aslan relationship ending.

She wanted someone to choose her and this guy did. I mean, he was bullied into it, but he did ask the question. That's what she wanted: to be chosen by a man. I think she even said this on the Grace Beverly podcast. Gosh, she was so pleased with herself and her cringe ultimatum on that podcast. She should do another and update us on where it all went wrong.

I completely agree. She doesn’t seem that upset and in fact she’s looking ‘better’ and more in touch with reality right now than she has in a long while. If the whole thing wasn’t an actual scam it was probably like a scam she was playing on herself and she’s happy to be over it. Just my opinion. I know she’ll do the requisite crying vlogs but she doesn’t seem that destabilized or thrown at all.

With Aslan, she was also acting super happy and everything but it had a more manic quality. You could tell that she was running from herself and couldn’t be alone and was looking for identity. So there was a post breakup high but it felt untenable and like she would face it eventually. With this, it feels like she just finally got over something that was annoying her. But just vibes I’m getting.

ETA By ‘better’ I mean healthier in a way I can’t describe. Like there is something behind her eyes. I felt far more that something was wrong with her and she wasn’t doing well when she went on her ultimatum tour and posted the video sobbing to her mom about being chosen. She seems fine right now lol.
 
Maybe there is a sense of relief. She must’ve known deep down that marrying a man that you’re not really in love with and you don’t get on with that much, is a bad idea. I KNEW from the minute she posted that engagement vid that this was doomed. Just the way she spoke about him and the engagement was baffling. “He’s nice”. “I wanted someone to choose me to heal my childhood trauma”. They’re both better off. I’m glad they realised in time.
 
DIdn't she call her mom and was like "thank God, it's done!" when he proposed and the mom was legit shocked like even she didn't believe it actually happened with this guy, like it was some court case she won or something.

The way she kept describing things looks even more manic now, with the wedding being off.

I still really don't appreciate her shitting on people who do get surprise proposals, to say that it's lies and damaging is so mean.

Also maybe it would have been better if they just stayed engaged for a bit, she started to plan the wedding before he even asked her, like there probably was no enjoyment of what did happen. Just all so weird.

Definitely out of jealousy/insecurity. I think a surprise is objectively the most romantic/magical way to do it. I personally don’t why you’d want to know beforehand and tbh, I would be happy not even picking my own ring! But, everyone’s different. A lot of people let their control freakiness destroy what otherwise could be a beautiful moment.

Subconsciously, she probably wanted to hang on to the apartment as kind of an insurance policy in case things didn't work out. But then she seems to be in the habit of getting rid of all traces of her "past life" when moving on from a failed relationship, so...she might not end up back there, after all.

She was talking about Effie "not having it" when she was flat-sitting for Lindsay, so she had to rush back home. Probably projecting all her anxiety on the poor dog again.

Effie always looks so sad, maybe that's just her doggie face but smh living with Estee and her "moods" can't be easy.
 
Just another random thing I noticed… I don’t remember when this was but it was somewhat recently either on IG stories or in a vlog… but Estee was saying her fiancé was looking in his closet to choose a suit for their wedding and wasn’t sure which one, and she was basically like ‘okay well choose one lol’.

That just rang sooo false to me, because in my experience most grooms do like to buy themselves a new suit for their wedding day, and most especially if they can MORE than afford it, which they obviously can. Again, if your man just wore a suit he had that is great and absolutely fine, but I would say more often than not when you have the money, a young man these days wants to get fitted for a new suit to get married. And it was also weird that Estee seemed uninterested in the whole thing, too. I honestly had it as another reason the whole thing seemed fake af.

The whole engagement thing and then wedding planning must have taking him for a spin, he didn't want to break up so he proposed but then everything seems to have gotten worse... he probably finally realized that he's a +1 at Estee's wedding. More of a prop than a partner...
