The thing is, I’m not even surprised, if someone had asked me I would have said I think they’ll call the entire thing off or that it was staged from the beginning. The poster who has some contact to the ex, can you pleeeeease dig up whether it was genuine? Wouldn’t put it past her to stage it for the engagement and content and maybe pay out the poor guy.

I guess it’s because all they do is roleplay as adults. Estee‘s yt generation in particular does this. They never really grew up, never had proper jobs, earned more money than they knew to spend and were suddenly „business owners“ without any proper experience or knowledge. They get everything for free, never have to put any effort into anything. So it’s not surprising that a lot of them don’t know how to navigate relationships and friendships. Estee is a prime example for that. As soon as a friendship goes beyond „yaaaassss girl boss, you’re so gorgeous!“, it’s over. A man doesn’t propose after exactly two years? She’s gone. That’s the level of immaturity they all have in common.

If she were to publicly and officially say that the wedding is off, she would be flooded with comments and messages asking for more details and offering sympathy, which is why I think she’s putting it off. It would be like the Aslan break up all over again and she said that the break up was harder because it was so public.
I think she’s trying to process it and try to avoid it becoming a big deal.

Yeah she’s probably regretting the TikTok meltdown in more than one way: it didn’t work out in the sense that an actual wedding isn’t happening and also, she publicly talked about a relationship for the first time in five years and now it’s over, she’s basically in the same situation she was in before, with Aslan (even though she never showed this guy). This is why I think she won’t say anything.

I don't see Estee being all that upset about this broken engagement. She hasn't even taken a break from YouTube to come to terms with it. Not really surprising since she was never in love with this guy. She didn't even like him. She barely tolerated him. I think she was far more cut up about the Aslan relationship ending.

She wanted someone to choose her and this guy did. I mean, he was bullied into it, but he did ask the question. That's what she wanted: to be chosen by a man. I think she even said this on the Grace Beverly podcast. Gosh, she was so pleased with herself and her cringe ultimatum on that podcast. She should do another and update us on where it all went wrong.

ok, seems she has now deleted her ultimatum TikTok videos as well. I'm also pretty sure she used to have a Pinterest board for her wedding and that's been deleted too. It's definitely over and she's going to pretend it never happened and she'll never utter a word about it a la Aslan's name post break up.
