Thank you @scparis89 for the most voted thread title, I just added the last bit since things seem to be shifting.

I wonder if her fiancée Ben ever heard her talk badly about him after he was "encouraged" to propose on all those podcasts and interviews, she kept saying such unkind things about him. He proposed to her and the she still did all those interviews and podcasts flexing about getting her ultimatum, like the guy held your hand and asked you like you wanted, why keep being aggressive about it? She lost a relationship, that's the worst part, the marriage is just a bonus. Guy is not perf but she'd take anyone it seems.


Looks like the dream wedding that had nothing to do with two people actually co existing together ended.

Maybe she should try to own this disaster and put her own "positive", self-growth spin on this before some cheap tabloidy articles get pumped out about how this influencer twit who went "viral" bragging about giving her boyfriend an ultimatum ended up on her ass alone two months before her wedding. Like maybe that's the move here. I don't know!
 
Minus the initial statement about their breakup, I don’t think Estee ever mentioned Aslan again in her videos, until Reggie died. So I still think she will sit this out and just not say that the wedding is off. We‘ll get lots of solo trips in the upcoming months until even her dumbest followers catch on, then a series of vague insta stories about being happier than ever (or about being depressed and needing more wine), and that’s it. I can’t imagine her being mature enough to address this.

I just don't see a world where they're together but have indefinitely postponed the wedding. She's in "no coming back from this" territory, I think. I kinda think issuing an ultimatum after years of an up and down relationship and then accepting a canceled wedding and ambiguous future would make you the ultimate doormat and even Estee's busted brain would nope outta there. God willing.

I agree. The flat-sitting gig was confirmation imo that they don’t live together anymore. It’s definitely over.
 
Flat sitting Lindsays place with Effie was definitely her getting out of her place so her fiance could move his crap out. Also it looks like she's back to wearing that engagement ring she bought for herself years ago.

I get the vibe she ended it for some reason. Like maybe she realised she didn't want to actually marry the guy....

If this is the case I honestly think it would fit her desired "brand" more than the ultimatum. She could go on a podcast tour about choosing herself, being an independent girlboss blah blah blah.

This. There's also absolutely no reason for her to bring Effie otherwise. Why take your nervous dog out of their home for a few days to go to another flat in the same city when Effie could have stayed home with Ben? There's literally no reason to do it.
 
When she was on the phone to her mom and she said “it’s not bad news about my personal life for once” - that confirmed that it’s over, for me.
A woman who’s about to be married soon would not say that without clarification that the wedding is still fine and she’s happy with her partner.
I have to say, she is being relatively calm about the whole situation. I remember her being a lot more frazzled when her and Aslan broke up. But then again, her and Aslan seemed to have a genuine connection and a lot in common. This guy felt like a “it’ll do” kinda situation.

I hope she realized that too and learned that you should get married for the person you’re marrying, not just for a proposal and engagement.
Every video she mentioned him, it was her expressing relief that he was away, or her being annoyed at him merely existing in the apartment. Maybe she finally got the point where she knew that marrying someone she had been on and off with for two years wasn’t the right guy.
 
Omg what is this slow burn, why is she dragging the official reveal of the broken engagement out so long. She's dropping breadcrumbs and just letting us do the work and the dull subbies who inanely query her in her comments about her wedding and gossip amongst themselves. The poster who said she needs to girlboss this and make it an on brand moment is probably correct. Time for Personal Growth mEsstee to emerge and tell the world about all her fantastic revelations about living intentionally and whatnot and not forcing a relationship that isn't right. Goop it up girl!
