English channel migrant crossing crisis #7

Except I've never said that.

By the way, I just can't take seriously the ramblings of someone who's proud of being Islamophobic.
---

Alas, I'll never live up to your posts about London.
Islamophobic?
I’m not keen on any religion so, in the interests of equality, I’ll not exclude Islam from any criticism I may want to level at any religion. Fair’s fair after all.
A law specifically against Islamophobia? Is this an attempted blasphemy law through the back door?

It's a flat out by blasphemy law, no back door about it.

Any belief which requires us to believe in a metaphysical realm, accessible only after death, and the existence of an all powerful entity who "made the world" should be mocked and ridiculed for the ridiculous concept it is. Not protected by an inquisition.

The religious can believe what they want, but don't expect me to share, respect, or even not mock this belief.

Foreign name shockinggg  and yeah I know not all foreigners are bad, some British people have 'ethnic' names due to their background and British people have also committed such atrocities (such as Sarah E's killer). Just we seem to be racking up loads of these incidents recently :(

This was the case where a police officer shared the cctv evidence I believe. Another police officer didn’t help her when alerted to her vulnerable state by a member of the public.

Indeed. Some reports say he was of "no fixed abode". Mmm.

The best thing you can say about him is he's a predatory bastard. The worst a rape murderer.

Not enough facts about his background are known. But he doesn't appear to be someone who occupied a place at the commanding heights of the economy.

I swear some of you wake up thinking "Now what news story can I find today of a migrant carrying out a heinous attack?".

Just a reminder that people born in this country carry out such awful crimes.

And once again you are spectacularly missing the point. Literally no one has argued that British people don’t commit crimes. There is even a very active thread on this hallowed site that covers crime in great depth. There is little we can do about this apart from trace, arrest, prosecute, and lock up for a long time. Or at least 40% of their sentence as is the current vogue.

However there is much we can do to control foreign criminals, not least of which is refuse them entry to the UK without clearance, and if we must consider his asylum claim do so quickly whilst detained, rather than allow him to become of “no fixed abode”, (ie no one had a bleeping clue where this dangerous man was at any given point). If these basic precautions had been carried out maybe, just maybe, that poor woman wouldn’t have been raped to death on a park bench. Because guess what, if this guy was a Somali asylum seeker, and the truth of this rumour will be made clear when the trial starts, then Somali society is one where rape, violence and lawlessness an endemic.

And shock horror, man who grew up in a violent lawless society turns out to be a violent and lawless rapist himself. Who’d a thunk it bubba?

Now I realise that you’re from London and rape is an hourly occurrence in your bubble

But for those of us who aren’t lucky enough to live in the multi cultural paradise still maintain our humanity and regard rape and murder with a deep revulsion. Particularly one that shouldn’t have happened had this man, if indeed he was here illegally, been deported back to the violent hellhole from which he came.

To put the one in fifty figure in context. If UK nationals were committing crimes at the same rates the prison population, based on a population of 67 million approximately would be approximately 1,320,000. Current prison population is 97,800 and this has apparently reduced the system to breaking point.

Just let those figures sink in…..

That’s not even including petty crimes 🙄 I’m sure deportation to serve out their sentence in their country of origin would free up copious amounts of prison space instead of early release clauses.

Happy reading 🤢

Yeah but then we would miss out on all the cultural enrichment opportunities the Albanian mafia presents. If an Albanian hitman could be rehabilitated, naturalised, and spared from the hell of income inequality he would be nailed on to win Olympic Gold in the Rapid Fire Pistol event….

Disclaimer : this post is not entirely serious.

Thanks for suggesting that I don't regard rape as an appalling crime. You're an odd one, indeed.
