There seems to be a big push for change throughout the EU if other countries can deport I don’t see why the UK can’t?

This is it. I'm sure it could but they don't want to. Socialists are big on supporting and rewarding dangerous people. Look at the recent release of criminals because there are no prison spaces 🙄

Crime and justice is not on their to do list. Unless you're British working class with a Twitter account.

Is it any wonder the NHS is in a state when we are forced to provide care for the rest of the world's undesirables. One who has likely never contributed towards it.

Never mind! We are all expect to cough up more in taxes to support people like this.

I for one could not give two stuffs about his mental health. He is a Ugandan national, their problem to deal with - not ours.

I’m sure there’s plenty of people’s MH affected by his actions and those left to pick up the pieces in fear for their own safety from this maniac , that’s immaterial by ECHR standards 🙄

The ECHR is not fit for purpose in this day and age.

Most of the policies agreed in 1951 regarding refugees and asylum seekers are way out of date, and subject to various loopholes that have opened up since then.

Whilst I support basic human rights, that does not extend to foreign criminals who just migrate to European countries, or move around Europe to carry on their criminal lifestyles and activity.

If the ECHR is to survive in the long term, then modern amendments are required. That means the right to kick undesirables out of your country, without constant legal action.

Tbf, the Tories had planned for the prison release scheme prior to being voted out of office, Labour have just enacted it.
Perhaps we should think of dealing with things like the over 1000 Armenian prisoners now languishing in our jails. That would free up a few spaces.
An agreed returns policy with Armenia reduced boat crossings from that country by 90%.

Yes it was the Tories scheme. Still awful, and yes labour could have gone for the returning of foreign prisoners but they would never do that.

These Albanians have been in prison for some time, so it doesn’t seem like the Tories have ‘gone for it’ either.
Regardless of who’s in power I’d like to see some negotiations to alter the situation take place.

Neither of these main parties priority is to improve things in this country. They just want it to look so whilst using their positions to increase their and their friends bank balance and status for 4 years and then become even more wealthy on the speaker circuit when they leave.
Let's not pretend. Do any of these parties look committed to making your life better?
There must be true politicians out there that work for the greater good but they're not the ones we see and hear daily
