Emmerdale #10

They really have done their research for the Belle/Tom storyline. Viewers with similar experiences will recognise the familiar patterns, the sudden mood flips, the dragging up of prior "misdemeanors", the constant criticism at the smallest of tasks (the burnt toast).
And especially the "suicide" attempt. I literally laughed out loud at seeing Tom on the floor, it's EXACTLY what my hole ex did to me. My experience was over 30 years ago, I'm fine now, but it does leave scars, that are not always visible
If it's happening to you, please get help. It never gets better, it's not your fault, and it's not your responsibility to change someone's behaviour.

Anyone else think he killed his mum too?
I didn’t watch Emmerdale when his mum was in it. I don’t know who his parents are meant to be. Either way they spawned a monster. I bleeping hate the bastard

This episode brought out so much rage in me. I’ve never had soneone quite like Tom but in hindsight I’ve had lucky escapes. I wanted him to take too much paracetamol and die on the floor. I know that he probably lied about taking too many at all but still. I hope Belle gets away safe in that bus with Piper.

He’s is definitely his father’s son, he was an evil bastard too!
