Absolutely! I know a girl just like her, desperately lacking in self esteem, but would act super confident to disguise it. She used to actively seek out black men every single weekend for hookups but she’d tell them she had PCOS and couldn’t get pregnant, then one day surprise surprise…she’s pregnant. Needless to say the guy didn’t stick around!

He use to touch on hih healing journey from Emma on his close friend insta story but he doesn’t care anymore, he’s said he’d talk about it one day but honestly he couldn’t give less of a tit what people think anymore x

I rarely post here but this annoyed me..
I know "whooping" kids as punishment is still quite normalised & can be seen as cultural in older generations but its been proven to effect a childs brain development in the ways abuse does and is illegal in some countries including Scotland. I feel most emotionally mature people have realised that its ineffective as a punishment for children and doesn't teach kids how to deal with conflict in a healthy and productive way.

I know its just a song lyric and it doesn't have to be taken very literally - just Summer expressing her complicated emotions involved when dealing with a troubled relationship. But yeah.. the 'mood' caption annoyed me cos common Emma.. you'd potentially have more issues with the guy you had issues with if he'd been physically punished as a kid 😆

Also... I remember seeing Shygirl liked a screenshot of this lyric her friend posted on twitter and idk probs a coincidence cos this album has just come out and everyone is talking about it but it wouldn't surprise me if Emma keeps tabs on her significant ex's significant ex 😅

Let's just go back to commenting on Emma's gunt. I don't think she's advocating child abuse. And let's be real some men could have done with a bit of a whooping. Disclaimer : I am not advocating child abuse just a lol
