In the last late summer outfits, the word that came to my mind for most of them was FRUMPY, from hair to toes. Possibly dowdy. As we say in France, she "swims" in those shapeless clothes. She looks 20 years older than 5 years ago with this hairdo and overall attitude, and the glottal fry was just unbearable. I used to look forward to her videos so much, now just fast forward the thumbnail and leave.

I think she might lack purpose.

She is almost done doing up the house and seems to find little joy in the house or the area she lives in.
Likewise with her clothes - she has a lot of the same and her return to Zara feels like she turns to something she knows as she does not know how to evolve.

How is her relationship with her husband? They do not really do much together it seems.

She should do something useful, something for charity.

When the house is done what will she do? Seems like it's taken a long time which I get as it's expensive and time consuming but what then? Sell and do it again?

It's one thing to take a fixer upper and renovate to a state where it's move-in ready, but their renovations were strictly for aesthetic purposes. What a shame that whoever buys it will probably tear it all out.

Honestly the most boring selection of clothing ever

She says in the video (about a pair of pink trousers) “idk if pink is on trend, you know that I don’t follow the trends”

whilst simultaneously showing a trench in a non classic style (that collar is a trend right now) and relaxed wide leg camel pants with white stripe down the side - absolute trend right now that 2 years ago would have had you looking like you’re wearing a tracksuit to work.

She has a superiority complex about not following trends, when she absolutely does. She’s not cutting edge fashionista wearing every fast fashion trend no, but if you’re buying from the high street seasonly then you will be buying into subtle trends of colour, shape and textures.

She's literally following arguably the biggest, most mainstream and most accessible trend right now - "classic" and "timeless" style aka quiet luxury aka wank snobbery.

I thought mumsnet had spoken just the other day and declared those trousers to be past it?
