I just looked up her Toteme pants. $900…but the pattern doesn’t match up on the ass. That would bug the tit out of me, especially for that price.

Crazy that someone as fastidious as Emma makes herself out to be is unbothered by this. But let’s be honest, it’s shopping & the acquisition of stuff she’s obsessed with, not actual fashion and style.

And more generally, it’s bonkers how quickly the quality of clothing is dropping, including at higher price points. I have found Andrea Cheong (on Instagram & TikTok) so helpful for becoming more discerning about how clothes are made and what to look for before parting with money.

As someone working in sustainability in fashion, I rate Andrea. She’s doing some great work educating on garment construction and doing so in a way that isn’t preachy or condescending. It’s accessible.

They are 1000 percent stuck. Simon quit his job to edit for Emma. That was a few years back, not sure what sort of job opportunities they have where they live now but I can't imagine they thought about that before buying the bunga. She's stuck making content and being miserable about it. Like others have said Emma doesn't have much in terms of talent or book smarts. She's also unpleasant wouldn't be easy for her to go back to her retail job.

She doesn't have any life skills, does she? Except shilling and begging obviously. IIRC she had a pet shop at one point, or something to do with surfing? And she worked in a shop, maybe Hilfiger or similar? Simon collected tickets at the train station, I remember that much, because she said that's how they met.
She needs to up her game or they'll struggle to keep up with (presumably quite big) mortgage payments on the beige bunga. Her content is so sporadic and unoriginal. Not sure where she fits in, she's definitely not fashion content (there are only so many times you can show a blazer and a pair of straight jeans), her renovation content is dire and chaotic, she's having a stab at minimalism, but there's more to it than painting your house beige and filling it with storage jars. Plus you're never going to hit peak minimalism in a leaded windowed bunga with four dogs (as much as I love dogs).

I think this is supposed to be Emma's stab at Debora Rosa/the Halpins arty out of focus shots, but it just looks like she dropped her camera, and the empty Travelodge shelves just crack me up 😂 😂😂

has anyone looked onto Companies House to see how much they earned last year? I am not financial savvy but it states that in 2022 they have net assets of 283,143 GBP. So they are earning money to support their lifestyle.

Sure beats collecting tickets at the station or working in Kurt Geiger 😂

I’d happily live in a beige bungalow with empty shelves and never cut my hair and never go out for the same….if you will

I just can’t believe The Curated shot this campaign and didn’t hire a hairstylist for Emma?!
I can't believe she didn't get her hair sorted for the shoot. I was wondering if some kind of social anxiety was the reason her hair is the way it is but if she's able to do a photo shoot she's able to go to the hairdresser. This means that this is the way she wants her hair to be!! It's intentional!!!
