Yeah tbf to her the presents are fine I do agree getting loads for social media is silly and it has made me feel guilty of not getting my child enough when it reality we have a house full of toys and she really doesn’t need loads of plastic crap. I’ve got my daughter a tonies box, some pyjamas, a few peppa figurines/play set things, and a makeup kit and that’ll do her but again it quality over quantity isn’t it

totally agree with the development though my daughter isn’t 2 until end of September and her speech and walking is so much more advance than Amelia but I would t say she’s ahead for her age I’d say it’s quite the opposite so Emily is deffo holding her back

We personally get around the same amount of stuff she has. Because they get presents from others anyway and they already have loads.
I just don't understand why she needs to justify it though with silly excuses.
My 2yo thoroughly enjoyed opening her presents. Although she enjoyed the balloons more. So probably could have saved myself more money and just bought a pack of balloons

Very true! I didn't mean she should buy more, just - as you've said better than me - it's the justification which makes it seem so false and like she's protesting her 'innocence' and that it's 'ok' too much.

Also, I never saw any picture of a birthday cake for Amelia, or any photos/reels of her birthday. Yet the fuss for Ella was immense. The lead up, the cake, the summer house….sad really.

One thing I have noticed about her is her kids are always in ill fitting stuff

Methinks Emily should practice being kind to Amelia instead of selling out Ella to stupid adverts, putting her in harm's way of weirdos on the tinternet

Now that Amelia is 2 she should get 15 hours nursery funding shouldn’t she? Think it’s open to everyone now isn’t it? Regardless of whether the family work or not. That would be perfect for her. Get her mixing with children her age, chatting, playing etc. just what she needs.
Hopefully this is something they’ve already looked into, however I very much doubt it.

Ahhh my bad. I thought it had already started looks like she’s waiting until she’s almost 3 then just one day a week would be so good for her, my little boy did 1 day from age 1-3 (as it was so expensive I physically couldn’t afford anymore ) and he came on so much.
