His new song kept reminding my of something else and I think I've figure it out, 21 guns by Green Day. Anyone else get a similar vibe from it?

I normally just lurk here, but wanted to mention that I met James around a year ago in a work setting (I was working). He was nice enough but honestly just bizarre, seemed to lack basic social skills and just kept talking about himself.... didn’t introduce himself, just assumed we knew who he was. He blew his nose at one point and had literal snot on his face where he didn’t wipe it properly. Wore sunglasses inside. Such a bizarre life experience, meeting and speaking with a washed up celebrity in person. We just wanted him to go away so we could get on with work 😂

Anyway, one of the few chances I got a word in edgeways, I mentioned Emily and said I used to watch her videos when I was younger, and that I’d met her too. He was just like ‘oh, I forget that people actually know of her’ ... LOL, sure Jan.

Emily is far (farrrr) from perfect but she could do so much better, he’s worse in person

Sounds delightful!!!

He doesn't seem to have the best social skills in his and her videos and this aeems to be the confirmation that he is that bad at making small talk and reading social cues. Maybe emily thinks that this is what a tortured artist is like?! I don't think i could be intimate again if i saw my mam with a snotty face though...

it would give me the ick.

Her willpower is amazing - i could eat more... (but i won't!) I couldn't imagine being around someone like that if i was in ed recovery like Lucy. They seem so different, maybe emily is different when filming??

That's because they have a healthy and mature relstionship full of mutual respect. It is built on the healthy, sturdy foundations of hints, avoidance and thousands of miles between them.

The best way to communicate is always, let me stress this, always through song titles.

From one of her recent vlogs when her mum threw the chicken out she seems like a right brat, you could tell she cut the clip short because she was about to yell at her mum. I don’t think she cares about their opinions

Does anyone feel like she’s out and about more now that were in lockdown than she ever was in London? 😂
