I've noticed that, and the compliments. I think he is tit scared of her. She seems like she could be very volatile over the slightest inconvenience. She wasn't happy with Elph screaming in excitement when getting the gifts. He was trying not to be so loud and kept glancing at her but became very childlike in his demeanour.
