To be fair, Elphie said she was moving out and Jackie took it as a month's notice
Both parties are in the wrong imo, it's hard to see it as her being kicked out
I mean Jackie can’t tell her how to make money, but I agree she’s a disturbance .. but also chelsea & Jack have also been on the lives drunk (maybe not Jack drinking)

could of at least have said it was a warning & if she doesn’t change her behaviour she’ll have to find somewhere else 🤷🏻‍♀️

Jack cannot be the resident landlord as he isnt 18.
A house with 2 or more lodgers needs to be registered as a HMO.
I highly doubt Jackie is registered with Rent Smart, or has a HMO Licence, fire equipment, Co2 monitors etc etc.
She could land herself in hot water broadcasting it all over the Internet 😂
This is so true actually, if Jack isn’t the landlord then I’m not sure how it could even be a lodging situation either?

I think there's some weird common law stuff where if you're living with the landlord's family and paying the actual landlord rent directly/indirectly, it doesn't technically matter that the landlord is not really resident. It's a bunch of technicalities but if anyone can figure it out I would be very interested given their little arrangement

But Elphie is the one choosing to go tbf?
Elphie works on threats as we are seeing again. She clearly didn't think Jackie would take it seriously but she's been stupid to play that game

They haven't been respecting Elphaba since the start, no matter how reasonable that is tbf, so she should have known not to start with silly threats. Jack's family also seem loaded and Jackie said she basically pays for everything but rent, so losing one income isn't going to end them

I think even with the common law stuff they can't get around it as the legislation for housing in Wales is becoming water tight to prevent these type of instances with rogue landlords
