That Chanel bag is a perfect example of how wasteful she is. It's ugly, not her style and it's expensive. Yet because it was less than other boy bags, Elle thought she was getting a deal.
I would love to hear Elle say 'I'm not buying anything at the Nordstrom sale because I don't need anything.' I know she never will.

The most interesting point is that SHE ALREADY HAD a clawsik Chanel boy bag…the navy gold one….that she hardly ever uses…she didn’t need another one. She really does have a shopping addiction, which is sad.
 
Because Ginette's paying and playing traveling nanny. Elle says they're planning on visiting family, I can't imagine Ginette not going on that trip since she's the connecting link. And while Elle might be saving up for plane tickets and hotels, I can't imagine Ginette not paying for activities and meals here and there.

I also get the feeling there's bad blood somewhere in Elle's family. There's a weird energy with her family. Or maybe that's just them being "European."

Wow, Elle who never actually worked in a law firm other than articling (aka paid student training) gave advice on how to work in a law firm. Girlboss does not suffer from imposter syndrome at all.
 
I don't understand how or why she insists on using UK pronunciations for random words. Athleisure, for example. Elle, you had an English boyfriend for like a year. Calm down... lol.

Also, can I just say that it's so stupid that she wants to buy a Bvlgari purse in Italy, both from a money standpoint and a poser standpoint? If you want to buy something Italian, purchase a lovely handmade handbag you can get at literally ANY mercatino rionale or go to a place like Cellerini in Florence that makes everything by hand and is unbranded and absolutely gorgeous. As an Italian, I can tell you that it is all about being yourself and buying something unique. Also, if she wants to be Italian she should learn how to say Bvlgari correctly lol. Come on Elle! :P

She is insane. She already has a Bvlgari bag! Same with Loewe. Elle bought those and a YSL bag immediately after passing the bar to reward herself.
I also want to bring up her behavior with Rick to point out how selfish she is. The five months she lived with him she was unemployed. During that time she was shopping from thredup and bragging about going on dates to Target and Panera. It's safe to assume Rick was probably paying for most things. Then for her birthday trip to Disney Elle bought herself $250 sneakers because they had a cat that looked like Sammi on them! She went to Hawaii and bought a YSL bag. I'm sure Rick was bothered by other things about Elle but imagine paying for groceries, utilities, dates because you thought someone couldn't only to see them buy a $3,000 bag. At that point on GG we were pointing out prices for her purchases and we know Rick was reading there.
Elle is probably desperate to get to Italy so she can brag about a honeymoon. Never mind the fact that her mother is going to be accompanying them. He is going to be so grossed out to go all the way to Italy just to see Elle shop. He probably has a list of museums and attractions he'd like to go to while Elle has a list of stores.
 
I'm surprised at the fruit dress Elle is wearing in this video I remeber her getting a few fruit dresses over the years I can't imagine she's squeezed into one of those. So she's gone out and bought a 3rd or 4th fruit dress.

Also I'm not even a minute in and I'm already sick of her crane wallpaper. I don't think it was meant for more than an accent wall and I dont like that shade of baby blue.

Probably because neither Ginette nor Elle made any effort over the last thirty years to meet or even engage with them. I'd be creeped out by a whackadoodle distant cousin who talks constantly about being Italian/French/Belgian even though she was born in the United States and raised in Canada!

Maybe they also judged Ginette for having a baby out of wedlock with some random French dude who dumped her and left her with a pile of money to go away and never speak to him again. It doesn't scream good judgement.
 
I bet fisherman has never been out of the country. If he has probably just Canada, and come on? He is going to be in such a state of culture shock being in Europe where hick Americans are laughed at. And then the shock of seeing another side of the 'girls' when they are trying to be so Italian. She copies Chase Amie a lot. Amie went to Greece and talked about taking a trip with a months old baby as a good thing. When they get older they are harder to manage. That is why a Euro trip is being taken at this point.

Amie is like Elle and is a fool. Taking a ten month old to Europe is not relaxing or pleasant. Navigating a stroller through the cobblestone alleys of Rome sounds like hell, as does having a baby strapped to you in the Tuscan heat. You are also bound by their nap schedule and have to carry a ton of stuff with you when you leave the house.

I don't get why they don't just go to Hawaii. Just order in Italian at the Cheesecake Factory to make yourself feel superior and let fisherman go off and fish.

Fisherman has definitely been out of the country. Way back when people found out his identity, his Facebook profile was found. If I recall correctly there were pictures of him in Southeast Asia. He seems more well-traveled than Elle.
 
Did she say the Italy trip will be their (super delayed) honeymoon? I haven't watched the video and don't know if I will...

Because she has this tic where she just blurts out English words with different European accents that she claims ancestry in. She can control it. Just like her "3, 2, 1" just comes out of nowhere. :LOL:

Elle, get into your head that it's PERFECTLY FINE to be ANY size as long as your weight doesn't cause health issues! Your mother hasn't been her "usual size" since she had you, and you most likely inherited her genetics! For the sake of your mental health, get used to your new "usual size"!

Oh I would love tips on finding leather in Italy. I wish I had known about Cellerini when I went to Florence last year.... unfortunately everything I saw looked cheesy with Florence stamped on it or like something you would get in Amazon. (I almost bought my first luxury purchase in Milan because the exchange rate was so good when I went.) I will be likely to go to Italy more times for work, so I would love to know how to scope out some good leather that's not necessarily branded.

She seems to be doing that high camera angle to hide her figure. I know that trick Elle. It doesn't make the video look too professional.

I think he went to SE Asia like 15 years ago and to Mongolia or somewhere like that for some Christian (?) volunteering back in college.
