Its definitely not pearls *gasp* we all know how rare it is that she is not showing off her mercy. And normally I feel like she would point out new jewelry, be it a new design of hers or a gift from someone. But the fact that she didn’t mention it specifically makes me think it is from a man.
I also think the flowers she got could be from a new man too. How many girl friends buy each other flowers? I feel like if you are close enough to someone to buy them a birthday gift, then you are close enough to get them something more personal than flowers.

Also, someone posted up above about 3 place settings when elle was blowing out candles on her cake. You are totally right! It looks like 3 place settings if elle has a setting from where she is filming. Good eye!

I completely agree. Eleonore F Lecocq looked really upset on the morning of vlogmas Day 5, and she skipped day 8, saying she was working and there was nothing to record that day, and how she doesn't talk about her career (don't lie, Smelle. You CONSTANTLY talked about how you are a "lawyer" before people on GG exposed you for the fraud you are).

She did her nails on Day 9, and she looked like she was in a mood when she mentioned the laundry. I also got the vibe that her plans (probably with Mr.Six-head) were cancelled last minute, or she would've been at Ginette's place like she had been the past few days to do her nails.

It makes a lot of sense if we think about it. Argument on day 5, maybe Smelle trying to convince him that it's no big deal on day 6-7 (her birthday was around this time), another argument on Day 8 (and hence no vlogmas clip) and maybe he questioned their relationship, and we see her fuming on Day 9 by herself. If she had planned to do her nails then, she would've had a girls night with Ginette, so I agree that her original plans were probably cancelled and she had to film something, or risk skipping two days in a row.

You inspired me to go watch the jam clip, and you are right...it is so odd!! Not only that, but Mama G's finger licking and open mouth chewing is off-putting...
That and the fact Mama G actually licked the knife and put it back into the jar...just wtf. The jam isn't something that's going to be eaten quickly, and having spit sit in food that's supposed to last a while is plain unsanitary and gross. (This happens at around 7:12 for anyone interested).

That scene gave me Marie Antoinette vibes for some reason...Elle rented a $3000+/month Airbnb earlier, now her mom is renting another Airbnb apparently, and while people are struggling during the pandemic they're just sitting around eating croissants and sampling jams like nothing's happening, giving no shits about anyone but themselves.

And it's not that people should be miserable or shouldn't enjoy themselves or enjoy their money. Like, Fleur de Force is doing vlogmas too in her massive house, and she doesn't give any bad vibes at all. But with Elle, I have a problem with her scamming and her ulterior motives for everything.

Before the DailyHive thing, I always thought she was annoying but mostly harmless. But the DailyHive thing really exposed her true colors for me. Trying to scam people during a pandemic by straight up lying about sourcing her things from local small businesses is really appalling.

And I'll say it, Elle's two fundraisers were incredibly self serving. She could have quietly donated to charity like most people did during this pandemic. Instead, she made a huge show of donating her subscribers' money to get public praise. She also could have told her subscribers to donate directly to these charities, but she didn't do that either. Instead, she used these charities to sell more of her crap.

Let's look at the net result of these fundraisers--these charities got a measly 10%, while Elle herself got 90%. She only donated $500 herself in this whole thing. Meanwhile, she doesn't bat an eye at spending $3000+ a month to rent Airbnb, or buying $1000 briefcases for no damn reason. Meanwhile, she got public praise from her subscribers, and she probably bragged about these fundraisers in her job interviews and used them to pad her resume. So in the end, she got 99% of the benefit. That's self serving to me.

Yeh...I had an issue with her stupid fundraisers from the get go because I felt she only did it to save face from her Daily Hive scam, which she NEVER APOLOGIZED FOR.

I normally don’t mind if influencers or gamers promote their channels by doing fundraisers, but usually those types 1) have a decent following and Elle does not and 2) the influencer performs a service and or sends a small gift to whoever donates to their fundraiser. On top of that the influencer will donate a portion themselves and it’s usually quite a bit of money. As you said, Elle doesn’t do any of this at all; she is simply asking people to buy her worthless shit. It is definitely self-serving and not in a good or innocent way.

Alas, I shouldn’t be surprised. She’s a selfish scammer through and through. Every time I think she can’t get any worse, she continually outdoes herself.

ETA: I forgot, her “service” is matching donations. Not really anything fun or creative which is what other influencers do to entertain their followers.

Just watched the second installment of vlogmas. Elle is a crazy person. Yes, I know I’m using an ableist term but I don’t feel badly for it. She is immature, stunted in her personality development, oblivious, unintelligent, and doesn’t seem to be living in reality.

Things that really chapped my ass in the recent vlog:
1. HORRIFIC table manners. Clearly, learned from her impolite mother.
2. Sloppy at home manicure. If you can’t figure out how to paint your nails in a fashion that doesn’t look like an 8 year old, stick to clear or natural-looking polish colors you dumb bint.
3. The giggling needs to be stopped. While Elle and her Mother think it makes them sound cute and coquettish, they actually sound like moronic bubble heads. MEN DONTLIKEIT!
4.Stop smacking your lips while tasting ANYTHING. It’s off-putting.
5. If you’re going to do something half-ass, just edit it out of your video.
6. The majority of furniture at Elle and her Mother’s homes is tacky and they have too much of it. Work with an interior decorator.
7. Same sentiment applies to their style- work with a profession stylist. Christ on a cracker, these two bubble heads dress matronly and not for their body shapes.
8. I need to stop- myis telling me to”breathe” and chill.

Nice find! In that case, I think it’s more likely she bought it herself pre-loved from a consignment site (like the David Yurman bracelets we discussed earlier). There’s no way she’d be able to resist showing it off in some unboxing video if it was from a man and new with the Cartier packaging.

On the 3 place settings, I know this is a long shot that it's the same situation, but my mother had a habit of always setting an extra place "because you always want to be prepared for extra guests". Now, like Elle, I am an only child with a single parent as a mother so lots of our more recent holidays now that our extended family is gone consist of just the 2 of us; but she ALWAYS sets 3 plates. I think it makes her feel less pathetic or something.

I still need to watch the latest video but if it's as manic as you say perhaps Ginette felt she needed to move during this time to be there to keep an eye on Elle. I am sure she knows her better than anyone and may feel she needs to manage her through this time.

Her watch is her mother's Tiffany Concord. She said in some jewellery collection video that her mother bought it for herself as a push present and gifted it to Smelle when she graduated from her masters course. Definitely less expensive than a rolex but Smelle seems to think she has only the most sophisticated items
