Her business is extremely low stress, so I guess it can't hurt to make more money during the day. And having a job helps with her business sales, having no job would hurt her brand.

I noticed that she said something like "Merci Lancome" at the end of her video this time. On her Kerastase video, someone commented asking if she could stop pronouncing things with French accent to make it easier to understand (and a bunch of people upvoted) so maybe that was a subtle FU to that person. No one tells Elle what to do!

Because without her office job, her side gig wouldn't take off. She's so un-relatable. She's running out of content. She's no longer girl-boss. She's a bored house woman. Nobody would watch her channels or buy her stuff. I give her 1-2 years max before she's not able to make much from her channel / side hustle anymore. Right now, Elle is the only woman on youtube who is not married or have children who doesn't even have a part-time job.

The worst part is she has a cooking blog. She's never a great cook to begin with (ok maybe passable for the average 30 year old. But the average 30 year olds sometimes work 12 hour days, are very stressed, and have no time so I'll give them a pass). But none of her recipes are original. I'm willing to be $1 you can find way better recipes anywheres except her website. None of her BFs said anything good about her cooking.

Guys... Ricket's latest insta pic is the quintessence of what Smelle missed out on 😂 The bow legs are on display and so is a t-shirt he's probably had since 2001.

I watched a random YouTube video on the mountains of BC. What a beautiful place. Shame Smelle never showed anything more than three shots of Whistler shopping district.

Also I scrubbed through her most recent video and you’d think that with the expensive camera and lighting setup Eleanor Lecocq has “invested” in, her video quality would be stellar by now. She can’t even do simple panning shots without the footage looking choppy and rough.

Brooke micacio or however you spell it showed her Adsense earnings per month and she’s at the $10k mark I believe...so I honestly think Elle might be at $1k at the most.

Interesting. I looked her up. She has around 230k subscribers (so more than double what Smelle has). Also, her least viewed recent videos appear to have 40k+ views. Smelle is lucky if she gets 15k these days.

However, Smelle has some older videos that have a lot of views and they'd still be bringing in a lot of Adsense money...

Ok I watched Elle's video. It IS worse. WHYYY?? WHY does she put these out? She rubbing her dirty, sugar-laden and licked hands all over her face, dissed her makeup sponsor by saying she wouldn't make her video "too makeup-y", and voiced over a crap audio. Hitting her mic multiple times, fading in and out, blowing it out & rubbing her sweater over it...honestly, she should have just redone it. It's pretty easy. But she's lazy.

I'm not sure what kind of quality standards Lancome has for their sponsorships, but damn this was bad. She barely spoke about each item (except the foundation), the sound sucked, and the production quality was poor. Typical Girlboss doing the bare minimum.

Remember when Michelle Phan had a Lancome sponsorship 10 years ago as the OG influencer? Her 10 year old videos were way better, both in terms of content and production.
 
Ok, as much as Elle pisses me off, I can’t fault anyone for having herpes, if that’s what that is. I don’t have it (that I know of), but it’s super common and I figure most people are asymptomatic. 🤷‍♀️

She might think we're being bitches but this is actually sound advice LOL. Parents can pass it onto their babies if they kiss them while having an active break out.
