Something like “it was quiet until you started talking” I think?
to be fair I sometimes will tease my kids about them disturbing peace and quiet but it’s usually banter back and forth between us and mine are older so give me banter right back and it’s less bitchy and more humour. Little kids don’t get sarcasm or the adult tone.

I've always thought the same thing. The girls just seem to be left up to their own devices, especially Alice. My youngest is a little older than her, and she's never wandered out of the house on her own, or covered herself in makeup, pulled everything out of presses etc. There's letting them explore and play and have their own space, and there's being too involved in your own crappy crafts to parent properly. I can't get over the carnage of the playroom whenever she posts it, surely the older ones know how to put toys away when they're done with them
 
I followed her a while ago on Insta for the nosy and unfollowed because of the fake sustainability/over consumption. And she chose to have four children... Hardly sustainable. I would have known her a bit in school and she was grand like but boring, goody two shoes type.


I thought I saw her on the beach in Sligo at Christmas alright and was surprised that she would travel during the pandemic . My parents live half an hour away from me and I only visited them in their garden. Too high risk with children in school and my work. I suppose she doesn't work so she doesn't have to worry about that.

Anyway had a look at her stories for the first time in ages and all I saw was a whine about not being able to go to England for Christmas (you still travelled across the country, honey) and what is going on with the cri cut thing. Jesus. The state of the house too with all the 'crafty' stuff and tit on the walls. She has too much time on her hands.

When I did watch I felt so sorry for the kids. Ignored by her as she chases the gram and pretends to be soooo relaxed. She's as sustainable as a single use polystyrene cup. Jumps on every trend. Uses every opportunity to pull the silly faces. Belittles others yet jumps on the be kind wagon. Reminds me of the Gone Girl fake "cool girl". Instascammer. Sneaky. On the beg. Travelled around when her government asked people not to.
 
The desperate tagging of other, more successful instagrammers who have jobs as well 🙄.

The painting cheap flat pack furnitureo it still looks cheap, just a different colour...

Also the shite recipes, akin to Junior cert home ec.

Also for someone with the privilege of having a PHD (it is a privilege, I put myself through my degree) and she never acknowledges that privilege bar letting instagram know she is donating used bits to charity...

I actually like Eimear. I have zero interest in the crafts and certainly wouldn't buy the sweatshirts.
All in all I think she is nice and I remember the breastfeeding slideshow. That group she was referring to are very militant. Also very pro life and I have had major run ins with 2 of the admin.
I was disappointed with her trip to Sligo. We are all missing family but limiting contacts would have been the right thing to do.
