Eimear Hutchinson The Two Darlings

1
I unsubscribed in the summer. She goes on a rant every so often if she gets backlash against all the ads, saying she's giving up her time to put up stories and this is the way she gets paid for it, so we have to put up with it, and anyone who calls her out is a begrudger basically. So sit tight and watch and engage with her ads so she can make some money, you useless followers. Piss off eimear

I used to like her because she promoted a lot of local businesses and her kids are funny and she seemed genuine. I kind of feel like Covid may have displaced a lot of influencers though and changed how we view them and also their content. I don’t want to follow accounts that pretend to homeschool for clicks, or who claim to have Covid anxiety but leg it to Primark or the pub the minute they can. Accounts that share useful stuff about the things I’m interested in - education, food, mental health, and some politics and also some small businesses accounts that make things I want to buy are where I’m following now. Not interested in someone else’s chaotic version of life when I have that in real life myself.
I don’t think all is well behind the scenes for her to be honest but I have nothing concrete to say why, just a feeling.

1000%!!!! This is what made me unsubscribe. She wants obedient minions who do as she says. That and the painful boomerangs with the stupid facial expressions. Mean girl attitude. Nice as pie but don't you dare step out of line as a follower!!!

I think more people are copping it that influencers are not your BFF they are using followers to make money.

Sure it’s all about the cricket at this stage. Not relatable at all n
Oh my god it's painfull. What's the point in telling us plebs about how it works . It's not really an item everyone has lying around. She should really just focus on craft etc if that's what she wants. I like accounts that have one main purpose lately. Now everyone is jumping on every bandwagon .Jack of all trades ,master of none come to mind. Now I'm not saying she is not good at crafty stuff but by god it's painful to watch

She has her hands in so many pies it’s very confusing
Just grabbing the cash from wherever it’s so chaotic I can’t watch

Sooooo many accounts now turning into home/interiors accounts
then they’ll add a bit of cooking or cocktails and a bit of kids for cuteness

It’s all becoming One Giant same saturated market
Maybe there’s no newness for them to turn to anymore
Or I’m so cynical of the whole thing now

It seems Every single person who builds or renovates a house in Ireland has a blog/insta account documenting every aspect then they’ll start showing us recipes #Eyeroll

Totally agree - I've absolutely no interest in that cricket thing so she's alienating (and boring!) half her followers every time she goes on about it.
And - this may be just me - but the constant touching her hair drives me mad
Oh that drives me mad too. They all have to fiddle with their hair Or a chain .what's worse is the walking around "doing "stuff ...while on Instagram stories. Eimear is very bad for the hair touching .and she looks like she is enjoying it 🙄

Very few of the genuinely sustainable bloggers would touch Plenty. They’ve gone for bloggers they know will be able to sell it as “sustainable” but who don’t have many sustainable followers who will call them out for it.
It’s a bit like brands choosing the bloggers to promote stuff during the lockdown for homeschool. They didn’t choose smaller genuine homeschool accounts, they used bigger accounts with swipe up who don’t actually homeschool but took the £ for it.
Another eco brand did that recently. So did an “eco friendly” disposable nappies brand. They approached some eco mum bloggers who turned it down because the nappies aren’t that eco and it’s all “green washing” so they moved to accounts that aren’t eco focused because they knew they’d be able to pull it off.
It’s mad really.

There hasn't been a mention of the cricut since... oh I don't know.... the last postal date for all her orders...??🤔🤔🤔.... she's very clever is Eimear....methinks this impromptu shop was her plan all along.... she's made thousands between the sweaters and the prints.... well played Eimear 👏👏👏

Then a week of silence before a spotlight add... very much doubt she’s using an electric brush with her braces

Surely she only went to Sligo on the 26th? I thought she was at home for Christmas. Very very silly thing to do imo. Her family had been down the weekend before. Some of us didn't see family at all this Christmas to keep them safe.
