I agree with you about Jack and Honey as a couple. I can't stand Jay though, he's really boring and slightly creepy.

This Ben storyline has been really badly written and handled. Has there been a series of attacks? If so, why have we only seen one of them? How can we be invested in this story if we haven't seen it taking place. I couldn't give a crap about the guy who was beaten up as he's not a known character but the writers could have shown us Ben's perspective in a better way.

Why couldn't Phil get Ritchie to call Sam? Ritchie is allowed to visit him in prison surely as he hasn't been convicted of a crime yet. Why did he need that ruse to get an international phone call? I'm also at a loss how Sam is going to solve his problems, although she'll obviously be taking over the businesses.
 
Why was Phil asked if he wanted a slice of hash browns? Nobody has them in slices. It's not a thing.

Why would I show concern for Bernie when she's being ungrateful for the job she has and did criminal damage?

Why should we care that Ben beat up some no name person we'd not seen before that is homophobic?

Why couldn't they have killed off Jean with the cancer? Her character has forever been annoying and overrated.

How work shy is Marie to be off work with an headache? Get some co codamol down you and soldier on.

Why hasn't Linda gone back to the other pub now that the funeral she came back for is done with?

Why was Phil asked if he wanted a slice of hash browns? Nobody has them in slices. It's not a thing.
Hash Brown is code for 'Sam's got a sensible head now so we can trust her' (she's not the carcrash version) 😉

Obviously there's a severe labour shortage in London and nobody you can turn to for legal advice over an employment contract. Poor Vinny, the choice of people he can employ is frighteningly small 😥

Because he has a crying mum who has probably taken Ben home for tea and muffins ...... nah I'm with you, let's see Ben beat up every homophobe in London 😄

She's also been spending loads of magic money that's miraculously appeared recently. Usually all the Slaters talk about is being broke but I'm convinced that Jean must have cracked open Phil’s safe!

She's all hot air and so whacked out she doesn't know what day of the week it is. The BBC gave her many chances and she blew them all. I'm glad they've bought Kim back.

Cheryl is legit lovely and should be left alone. I bumped in to her in Cleveleys the other summer as she lives on that coast up from Blackpool or at least did then. She was with her son (teens?) who stood smiling quietly probably used to his mother being stopped. She was every bit what you see of her on screen. Kind and not giving the impression she was in a rush to get away. She was in the process of helping the theatre in Blackpool out as it was really struggling because of covid and all those in her line of work who would have been without work.
