I agree that he was so arrogant that he thought the body would never be found (even in the worst hiding place ever). But when Shirley said earlier about asking the police to get the ATM CCTV, Grey was surprised that ATMs have CCTV. I would have thought he would already know that as he's a criminal lawyer. It's just lazy writting.

Yeah it's definitely lazy writing. But I guess it could also be that he was so desperate for money and to keep up the facade that he hadn't lost his job that his thinking was reckless

Could care less about the Vinny, Rocky and Karen/Mitch stuff 😴

The Carter’s are painfully naive, they don’t need Gray to ask questions for them.

Also not keen on the new set, it seems too modern for Eastenders. Notice how Martin and Sharon got to introduce it… neither of them are irrelevant nowadays so I hate how forcefully they’re always placed as better characters just because of being on the show longer.

The ATM cameras or phone location records will catch him, if they don’t use one or both I’ll be amazed as it makes it so easy to pin it on him

If Danny is leaving it's not really feasible that old soak Linda can run it and Janine hasn't got the money to buy it. Kim's version of Sam might have obtained some money from somewhere and she was always more business oriented than the messed up Daniella version.

Yes I completely agree, Sam will definitely be after it to keep it in the family (somehow much later down the line Phil and kat will end up running it or Phil and Sharon) but Kim will be perfect for this new part in Sam's life if she does end up in the Vic because she is the right person out of the two actresses to pull off the older phase of Sam's life.
