Of course Ravi is a hypocrite (just like everyone else in Eastenders ). I've come to the conclusion that he never thinks anything through and isn't overly bright. He knows what a nasty manipulator Nish is but he has no respect for Priya. Nish knew that Nugget would back him up because he saw the snog. Ravi has just seen an opportunity to take his daughter away from Priya. Is Ravi not a giant hypocrite? I know I’m in in the minority and people adore him but wasn’t he a drug dealer? Was he that concerned about how the parents of the kids he was selling to might feel? I feel the writers never know if they want him to be a villain or the hero but at the moment he’s just a martyr who conveniently forgets anything dodgy he’s ever done to row with others.
the denzel/nugget drugs stuff felt like an after school special. Every part of it.
The Nish/Priya plot ended up falling flat. There was real potential there for a decent storyline but nope Nish is evil, everyone falls for it, lather rinse repeat.
I don't believe that the police would have been that hard on Denzel who is a 15 year old boy and just as much a victim as Nugget being sold dodgy drugs.
It remains to be seen if Suki will help Priya or be selfish. She knows that Nish is evil. So she'll either help Priya to get at Nish or keep quiet hoping that Vinny's sudden devotion will fool him.
Of course Ravi could be playing the long game with Nish to try and get his money but I think Nish will either leave everything to the kids or possibly do something unexpected so none of them get anything.
