It seems like the writers thought 'oh lets do a murder with 6 women' then got stuck on how to keep them all from going to jail so decided to stick the blame on Dean when there is no motive, there will be none of his DNA on the murder weapon, none on the tarpaulin and none on the body.

I’ve wondered about this, obviously his dna will now be on the weapon as he held it but surely they’d be running forensics on the tarpaulin too?

Calling our Harv a pedalo was what did it for me!

We've all been called worse. Love a pedalo when at the seaside.

He's made the right decision. Once you leave Eastenders you usually disappear. Plenty of better characters than him have left before and done nothing elsewhere.

Where on earth has he been?! Strictly finished months ago. I’m torn because I do like the character of Freddie but I do think his acting is a bit naff, he’s fine for the lighthearted stuff but makes me cringe doing the heavier stuff.

After the Christmas break it was the Strictly arena tour for February and he went back to Eastenders the following Monday when it ended. They film about two months I'm advance. He should be back on screen in 2-3 weeks just before May Bank holiday.

I don’t get why he got a break when other people that work for BBC talk about how they they have to keep working during Strictly

I think Rose was the first person to be written out of Eastenders whilst doing Strictly and now it happens every year. It gives them a better chance of winning as they aren't so tired. Others in the past like Jake Wood might have won Strictly if he had been written out, so he didn't run out of steam from trying to fit both shows in to his days.

Yes, I still remember how good Scott Maslen was, but he completely ran out of steam. If only EE had given him some time off :(

didn’t he have a “big” storyline going on simultaneously too? (i might be confusing him with jake wood though) - i always thought EE should have worked more with their actors doing strictly, especially as they’re both bbc shows and you know well in advance that they’re going to be doing it. glad they actually get time off now!

I can’t remember if it was him or Jake. But they were both great dancers so it’s a shame the BBC didn’t plan it better. I wonder who is going to be this years East Ender on Strictly?

i really hope it’s jamie borthwick! he was great on the christmas special and came across really well (and can be easily written out as it’s not like they give jay a huge amount to do).
