This may be an unpopular opinion?
I despise Dean and I’ll be glad to see the back of him but he shouldn’t be going down for a crime he didn’t commit. Maybe I’m biased because I dislike Linda. Don’t get me wrong Dean should be punished for raping her but he should not be going down for Keanu’s murder, even though it was so obvious it was coming🤦🏽‍♀️

I would feel bad for him but he raped linda, tried to rape Roxy, got too close to trying it again with Gina, nearly killed his daughter multiple times, blamed Jean for the tablets and called Harvey a pedalo
 
I wonder will this actually be the end of the 6 storyline maybe it will be for now but Dean will definitely contact Shirley about this and tell her what Linda did and I can’t imagine Shirley being the type of person to let something like this go because even though Dean is an awful sick minded person , he is her son and she’ll probably want to help prove his innocence by finding out the truth. Dean was told by the police that Linda is the one saying she saw him dragging the body into the caf so I find it hard to believe he won’t find a way to try get revenge on her or get someone else to do the revenge for him.

If this is his permanent exit storyline being charged for murder then maybe this will be the end of the 6 storyline but it seems too good to be true that the 6 will forever get away with their secret. Dean deserved karma he deserves to be in prison so I don’t feel bad for him but it’s more frustrating that he’s in prison for something he didn’t do because he should be in prison for raping Linda and for his attempt at raping Roxy. That’s what would of been great justice to see him go down for something he did do but I know in real life most of the time rapists never get caught and never get charged they unfortunately get away with it so eastenders is being realistic with him getting away with that but it’s a shame cause he’s always been so smug about getting away with it that I would of loved to of seen him finally charged for it.
 
Never forget guys Pat Butcher got Janine convicted for the murder of Laura Beale,
Janine didn’t do it, Laura died in an accident after falling down the stairs, Par knew Janine didn’t do it but chose not to support her as punishment for the things Janine did do but hadn’t been punished for. Pat remained living in The Square for several years after and it was hardly ever mentioned again.
The six will get away with this.
 
Sending characters to prison seem to be the easy way of getting rid of characters and tying up story lines. In real life the CPS would never accept this as evidence. And even if it did go to trial, a jury would never find him guilty on the words of one drunk women with a vendetta towards him. What would even be his motive? Sharon murdering him (although no evidence) would make much more sense.

Dean and Keanu had an altercation in Beale’s Eels leading up to Dead Body Day so maybe someone will bring that up? I think they had a few run-ins actually so could be that they were sowing the seeds for this outcome.

For me it's more that I'd rather see him go down for the rape. I don't care that he's been framed and don't care if it's unfair or wrong, but I'd prefer justice for the crime he did commit.

I wonder if and how him being at the Vic will play into this. Will he admit he was there and did he hear or see what happened?
