I wish they hadn't invented the wrench story. I know it's for the sake of the plot but it's just annoying that they are bound to get caught out in the lies. Theo will probably persist with claiming that he and Stacey were/ are in a relationship.

Stacey and Jean bring such great credibility to their storylines. Both outstanding.

I like that Martin is there for Stacey, I'm sure they wont get back together though (if they ever do) without a million twists and turns.

What is Debbie's condition. What happened to her. Is she a vegetable. Is it medically a thing for someone to just be asleep for ages. Woulndt you be on life support and then turned off after a while.

I wouldn't be surprised if Zack decides he's not ready for fostering, and may even end up cheating on Whitney? They're not a great couple anyway, forced together by the writers, and devoid of any chemistry despite the actors trying hard to make it appear so. I thought Whitney had the most chemistry with Mick. Her best boyfriend was Fatboy, but she didn't love him in that way. I hope Whit gets a happy ending and a baby.

The Theo storyline has gone stupid. I was enjoying it before. Like everyone has said there here was no need for the cover up. I agree with those who said that the actor who plays Theo is cute in a weird way.

Personally I find Jay to be a boring character and I don't have much interest in this Nadine storyline. Jay was a good character when he was a kid but he's dull as an adult.

I agree. They weren’t even properly together when she got pregnant if I remember rightly?

It's very difficult to Foster in the UK as social services have to make all sorts of checks and investigations. You have to have a suitable home with a bedroom for the child and before that you have to be interviewed by a panel before the final decision is made.
That woman visiting Whitless would be reporting back so they could be put forward to the next round. It takes a long time because they can't afford to make mistakes.

Unfortunately there are some people who just do it for the money as you get reasonably well paid. Foster parents have to devote a lot of time to the child. It's not just providing a home, food and clothing. They are expected to make sure the child attends extra curricular activities like horse riding, football, swimming lessons, drama etc. Plus any arrangements for them to see their real parents (if agreed with social services).

i also wondered if whitney’s previous arrest/trial would count against her in some way. i know she wasn’t convicted but i assume there’s still a record of some kind.

i can’t buy into them as a couple at all though and this whole thing is happening way too fast.

Me and my husband looked into fostering. While they do say they take unmarried couples, they want to see that you’re in a solid long term relationship. There were lots of questions about us as a couple. The last thing they want is to place a kid with you and then you divorce during the placement, as they’ve likely been through a lot of instability already. Zach and Whit have been together five minutes. Also they both have jobs with long antisocial hours. Foster kids can’t go into Walford’s 24/7 nursery.

But the main thing they’d pick up on would be the loss of Peach less than a year ago. No way would they be ready to foster after that experience.

I think it’s a comatose, unconscious but breathing. She will wake up for a storyline when it suits the writers. They could even make a backstory link to the witness protection story with Cindy/Rose, like she was a bystander to a crime and got KO’d

It will be like the awakening of Smaug 😂 when she realises her coffers are being used for IVF


 
Maybe I’m just being thick but do eastenders not film approx 3 months in advance? Why is Bobby braziers exit now that he’s actually on strictly, surely it would be within the next few months that he leaves and not at the exact same time as strictly is on? If that makes sense🤣
