it was during that late 2020 to mid 2022 period where so many completely wild and random storylines happened and then were never mentioned again

I had forgotten about Ian and Jean! That was definitely a strange one.
Also Ian and Denise, who would ever put them together?
Jay and Honey was awful, and now they have just reverted back to her being caring and motherly towards him.
Denise and Kim’s mother coming to see them, tells them they’re not really sisters. They do a DNA test to prove they are. What was the point of that? And the mum never gets mentioned. There is also another sister, Daphne, where is she?
Sonia previously found out she had inherited the cancer gene from Carol. She said she was getting her breasts and ovaries removed. Presumably she didn’t, or they wouldn’t be discussing her egg quality for IVF.
So many stories that don’t make sense, or get dropped halfway through.

About the body at Christmas, I feel that because they are introducing Ravi's family why would they kill him of at Christmas? He is a complex character with lots of potential. I agree with others he might help clean the body up and then he will be forgiven as Ranveer was a character people hated so why does it matter he murdered him? I hope its theo at this point but I'm hoping he will have buggered off before then.
