I haven’t watched Eastenders consistently since maybe 2016, but the last few weeks I have been hooked 🤣 Lacey Turner is one of the best actresses in soap history, she’s unbelievable. Could definitely see her being one of the rare few that actually make it as an actress outwith the show if that’s something she ever wanted to do.

We were saying that tonight - she was so believable as a London teen and now London mum. That bleeping Theo can do one 😂

So I stopped watching all soaps about 15 years ago having been a soap addict since I was a child. During lockdown boredom I picked up Corrie and decided to let myself watch one soap!
The other night (last Monday) my OH and I happened to have the telly one for the return of Cindy and OMG I picked the wrong soap to keep up with didn’t I? We’ve both completely rabbit holed Eastenders over the last week and it’s just in a different league to Corrie at the moment.

weirdly as a born and bred Londoner, I feel like I’ve come home!
I’ve heard Corrie is terrible at the moment. I stopped watching it in 2016.

Yeah there’s another serial killer and I’m basically going to watch until he gets his comeuppance and then ditch it again

I was thinking yesterday about how she didn’t get the part of Demi so they created Stacey for her. Even though she didn’t get it, they must have seen something special in her at her audition
She really fitted in as a Slater didn’t she?

The last really good storyline was the acid attack. Nothing else they’ve done recently comes anywhere near that episode I think

I wasn’t a regular viewer 6 years ago. I can’t believe this all happened in a week 😂.

I can’t believe all of that happened in a week omg they were really running out of ideas 😆

Abi getting bopped on the head at the end of that clip took me out 🤣

I wonder why she hasn’t ventured out of EE 🤔 She did ‘Our Girl’ shortly before returning, and an appearance in Call the Midwife, but that’s it
