Agree completely! I thought Gina was good with Freddie. I think maybe the whole Cindy storyline is weighing them down - that poor private investigator that keeps getting sacked every other episode.

I think Anna has a lot of potential as a character, like she can perform happy and sad storylines well. Gina as a character seems like a one trick with sad storylines, a bit like Ronnie was. Not sure if that made sense . It wouldn’t surprise me if they dump all of the sad storylines on Gina like they did with Ronnie and Whitney

So I'm finally catching up and I found it so hard to focus on Kat, Alfie and Billy talking to Freddie. Absolutely terrible writing having the 3 of them wittering on, few sentences each before the next one starts.

I had a dream last night Gray kidnapped Bernie and had a gag in her mouth. Can only wish! I don't think her character will last much longer, if Karen has been axed(?) I can see her going too.

Why are they turning Bernie into a less likeable version of her mum? I mean her mum is barely tolerable because they’ve chosen the brash unlikeable povo character route with her as opposed to exploring some of the depth and nuance they gave her during the Gray storylines.
