I think we should just let EE bring people back from the dead whenever and not criticise them for it. Like just have Ronnie and Roxy turn out to be the secret buyers of the Vic with zero explanation about the past few years. And their first customer is Pat ordering a G&T. Whatever it takes to not have another Ben storyline.

It feels like they're trying to make him some legendary character who will be in it for life, one struggle after another. When in reality the audience couldn't care less for him. He's annoying and boring. His storylines are so predictable, he argues with callum and they talk about how much they've been though and kiss and make up, he falls out with Jay, they talk about how they will always be brothers and need each other, he tries to get his dad's approval by being a little dick, his mum looks worried as she talks AT him about how much he needs to get his act together and he stomps around smashing things or trying to smash people.
They had such potential with Phil having a son who turned out just like him, or the complete opposite but instead we've got boring Ben. Least they could do is bring back his dancing.
