When this new family arriving in the Vic because it feels like an entire lifetime ago they got all the press. I feel as thought they're going to be so predictable, especially the daughters.
Not going to lie, was a bit of a Ravi fan a few episodes back. No idea idea what came over me. His character baffles me though, are we supposed to like him, hate him, feel sorry for him, does he genuinely like Chelsea, did he ever like Denise, just how dodgy is he, why don't we see him getting up to anything really dodgy? I feel like the writers don't really know themselves. One minute he's sleeping with who we think is his dad's wife, bumps him off and gets rid of the body and leaves no evidence apparently, and all is forgotten about. Its almost like writers weren't sure if he would be popular or be staying any length of time so set up all these things so he could have a swift exit if need be. He does bring a breath of fresh air to the show with his acting and his character and despite being a lying, cheating, murderer he is quite likeable for some reason so I think they would be daft to kill him off or make him so unlikeable people want him to leave. I loved to hate Gray most of the time and can't believe he was only there for 3 years, and I remember being gutted when he left and how they turned him into some ridiculous unhinged murderer. The character was interesting and I wished they had gotten someone else to be the abusive husband so he could have stayed, but he'd probably have ended up like a Martin character doing relatively the same story over and over and spending every spare minute in the pub.
Still feel as though Linda is coping surprisingly well considering the love of her life who she was with since she was a child and only just got back with vanished into thin air while being married to someone else and expecting a baby. Would have liked to see her actually struggle with feeling lonely and where to go with her life.
