When this new family arriving in the Vic because it feels like an entire lifetime ago they got all the press. I feel as thought they're going to be so predictable, especially the daughters.

Not going to lie, was a bit of a Ravi fan a few episodes back. No idea idea what came over me. His character baffles me though, are we supposed to like him, hate him, feel sorry for him, does he genuinely like Chelsea, did he ever like Denise, just how dodgy is he, why don't we see him getting up to anything really dodgy? I feel like the writers don't really know themselves. One minute he's sleeping with who we think is his dad's wife, bumps him off and gets rid of the body and leaves no evidence apparently, and all is forgotten about. Its almost like writers weren't sure if he would be popular or be staying any length of time so set up all these things so he could have a swift exit if need be. He does bring a breath of fresh air to the show with his acting and his character and despite being a lying, cheating, murderer he is quite likeable for some reason so I think they would be daft to kill him off or make him so unlikeable people want him to leave. I loved to hate Gray most of the time and can't believe he was only there for 3 years, and I remember being gutted when he left and how they turned him into some ridiculous unhinged murderer. The character was interesting and I wished they had gotten someone else to be the abusive husband so he could have stayed, but he'd probably have ended up like a Martin character doing relatively the same story over and over and spending every spare minute in the pub.

Still feel as though Linda is coping surprisingly well considering the love of her life who she was with since she was a child and only just got back with vanished into thin air while being married to someone else and expecting a baby. Would have liked to see her actually struggle with feeling lonely and where to go with her life.

Can someone explain the Stacey/Martin situation? I thought he was helping her with funds at one point with Stacey feeling like she couldn’t ask for help but still expected it from him anyway, now he’s sitting over someone else’s having beer and deep chats
As far as we know Martin is still giving Stacey money as maintenence for the kids. He even went off to work abroad recently for extra cash (Brexit never happened in Walford).

I hope the new family arrive soon. I'm sure you're right about the daughters. They'll be the younger versions of Ronnie and Roxy.

I ❤️ Ravi as he's a great villain. Does so many stupid and awful things, but still manages to be likeable.

As for Linda I'm enjoying having a rest from her. No doubt she'll feature heavily when her hard faced mum arrives.

Which reminds me, where has Alfie disappeared to? Did he realise that Brian Conley was playing his part better than him? 😄

Gethin and Aaron in the same space, two of the loveliest men on tv.

So articulate, spoke so well and is so appreciative that he has been given the opportunity to display his skills as an actor. Aaron is a great addition to the cast, genuinely lovely guy and seems as if his character Ravi is going to have a rollercoaster on the show.

Still waiting for Nish to call him Ravjot as he seems to give his family their full name, Sukhwinder, Parvinder.
It will likely be Ravinder or Ravindra?

According to this his first name is Ravjot! For some reason I also though Ravi's name was short for Ravinder in EE!

I really hate when they announce storylines really far in advance. You just end up with months of tedious theories. We had to wait a whole year for Mick to piss off once they’d announced he was leaving.

Everyone forgot about him pretty sharpish too. Seeing as he’s now in a reality show on E4, I’m estimating he’ll be dropping hints about coming back in about two years.

I am feeling some tension in this thread right now so here's a video of my favourite Ben dancing to Girls Aloud.

IF THAT DOESN'T HELP YOU ALL KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN...

To ease the tension a bit more

I agree. It feels like it drags on when they do that. I know they need to announce certain storylines with sensitive topics in advance but it would be nice not knowing. With the Mick thing you end up watching thinking when is it going to happen
