I think they just brought them in because they wanted a drag queen character. Would have been too obvious just adding a random person so invented the boring bollocks around Mitch’s family. But now they’ve realised there are only so many times they can have him dress up and the character is completely one dimensional.

I think Jean has a tiny attic room with a single bed doesn’t she? She mentioned sleeping in there with Harvey. So they’re in one room, Stacey and Eve must share, as well as Freddie and Alfie. Then all the kids in one room in bunk beds? That would mean it’s a four bed.
 
In one scene they did show stairs going up to the lift and I'm sure on the show its been mentioned that theres 5 bedrooms, maybe by Nish when he suggested HMO when he first came in. So if 2 rooms in loft snd 3 double rooms and dining room the suggestion above of 6 seems about right. These victorian houses have good room sizes also. I wonder how much the rent is, for a 6 bedroom in London and close to the station and shops I'd imagine it'd be HIGH

Wish you hadn't pointed this out, it's all I'll be able to watch now when she's in screen. Did feel like there was something a bit odd about watching her, could be this.
