I can't see that Ryan is going to get his way as even Whitless has sussed him out already.
He'll be sent packing by Stacey when she finds out he wants the baby and all the Slaters will continue to live miserably together on 40 quid a week.
I remember being young and seeing a magazine cut-out my mother had kept of recipes from actors/characters from Corrie contributing a recipe each. The cut-out was from the mid 60s! Maybe the inhabitants os the Slater household should do similar in these times on how to feed a full house on 40quid a week and still afford London drink prices!🤣

That old rust bucket of a car is parked under a sign that says 'Pay and display Monday to Saturday 8:30am to 6:30pm, maximum stay 4 hours'. Strange it hasn't been covered in parking tickets by now or carted away by the police 😉

And why are Halfwit and Inspector Gadget after Ravi? What's he been up to? Great to see the Walford police discussing cases openly in a local café 🫢

I used the postcode for Fassett Sq, which is the square the show was inspired by. I assumed that Stacey earnt £800 from the van and Eve earnt £200 a week from her work with Stacey and doesn't declare the work with Nish. I've also assumed that Stacey gets PIPs due to having bi polar and that Jean is a joint tenant and that they have rent of £2000 a month, excluding Jean's share. This is the benefit payment, they also get their wages and child maintenance on top of this. Please tell me why Stacey is skint? She will most likely have got all the cost of living payments too. Stacey would get PIP on top of this too

2000 a month rent?? They do duck all by way of work.
I think lily needs to flog the baby to her da tbh 😬 bring in some dolla

£2k is probably at the low end for a house that size in London. I’d add on at least a couple hundred extra a month because it’s a Victorian terrace, overlooks the square and is walking distance to the tube.

In real life it would probably have been turned into three flats by now.

That's what Nish wanted to do too wasn't it, turn it into flats or a house share - something like that. I'm surprised he hasn't gone ahead.

I hope they don’t get down the route of the Panesara owing the vic and I think they need to get rid of the whole family they are boring
Kheerat was the only one I liked. Now he's gone they seem pointless.

I deducted Jean's share from the rent I used in the calculation, she'll have her own benefit claim 😂😂

Nish is an inadequate crazy bastard but at least we can rejoice that he's excellent fodder for the next murder in Walford 😀

Nearly everyone in the square will have a reason to hate him 😄 but I'm hoping for Reiss offing him as he descends into madness 🤪

(or Ben getting out his trusty wrench 😅)

think it was mentioned in one episode that it was a 5 bed house as well and one scene I'm sure had stairs that looked like a loft conversion

I'm ready for new stories, bored of Eve/Suki, Whitney/Zak, Denise/Ravi, Nish and the Panesars (despite them being really good only a few months ago), even bored of the Lola and Lily pregnancy story.

Jack did that to one of the other houses didn't years ago?

Whitless and Lee lived in one of them didn't they?
