They 100% picked the person they knew would be the least competition, don’t think it was particularly fair to do it that way. They aren’t exactly going to pick someone that they are worried about... clever tactics 😂 I don’t mind Joe Black but didn’t find him half as entertaining as some of the other queens.

I really enjoyed the start of the series because there was a mix of winners (Asttina, Veronica, then Lawrence) and it didn't feel like last year when Viv was the clear winner. Then Lawrence won two more challenges and I was a bit like... meh, ok, but there are other queens who are doing just as well here. The Eurovision didn't need to have four winners, they usually choose one winner from the best group so that was a bit odd to me.

I think in the US one, they always have to pick ONE winner because of the cash prize. When they're handing out badges, I guess they don't care so much. I think Bimini would have absolutely got it if it was just one though.

Oh good point! Completely forgot about that. Yeah Bimini was the clear winner of the Eurovision challenge imo.
 
My runway look opinions for tonight.

Tayce's runway look was super tit. Just not good at all. Baga Chipz did it already.

Laurence Cheney's was not good for me. Felt like the judges didn't like it, but we're forcing positive comments.

A'Whora's runway was incredible! By far the best look. Incredible. I loved it so much.

Bimini Bon Boulash's outfit wasn't spectacular, but was pretty good.

Ellie Diamond, I really loved her look. Super fun, and cute. And it really worked.

Sister Sisters look just looked messy to me. For all the grabbing the best bits of the materials, the final outfit just looked tatty and rushed.


Also, Sister Sister seemed full on witch tonight. I really dislike Sister Sister now, just feeling nasty vibes tonight.

I feel the need to defend Joe Black, not sure why 😂. He seemed so cool and funny in Queens in Lockdown with the odd little cat on his shoulder. And some of his looks were amazing. Just wasn't the show for him

I know it’s not this series, but I’ve only just started watching recently, but I absolutely LOVED Divina di Campo.

I think LC will probably win this series as in series one, Ru favoured the Vivienne right from the get go

I wanted Cherry back too or Astina. I really warmed to Cherry in the episode she went.

Finished this week. Totally not surprised by the bottom two - Tayce needed maybe just another fabric/object to complete the bottom half of the outfit but I actually liked what she did with the material but it lacked that extra bit of finesse - she did look absolutely stunning in the face though. The other Sister Sister, I did like elements of their look but it was too much altogether and lacked shape.

Absolutely adored A’whora and so pleased she got the comments she did. I thought that look was stunning.

I really loved Ellie Diamonds look, however I would maybe like to see her do something different with her make up - she paints her face stunning but maybe perhaps she could try doing the eyes different cos I think it would be interesting to see.

I wasn’t blown away by Lawrence’s look but can see why it was safe as I think it’s quite a hard fabric to work with and it worked, it looked quite put together.

I just loooooove Bimini, as they said - very Vivienne Westwood. It worked.

Also A’whora being top with Sister’s blue signature mouth look the same week Sister went home - iconic.

Joe Black felt like a diplomatic choice. I loved him but also wanted Cherry back. Or did I just want her to be my friend? Killer outfits, mental health therapist and can give my lips a boost. I was looking forward to learning about the therapist/drag intersection

Sister Sister's was indefensible, and I'm pissed off on the other's behalf that she kept extra fabric. It held back everyone, not v sisterly sisterly...

Thinking out loud - would there be such a drag race fandom trolling issue if 'reading' wasnt such an integral part of the show? A bad read online would be called trolling
 
That was a fun episode!

Lawrence - wasn't blown away but it was enough to get through. It was a bodysuit though so it's never gonna be amazing. But their track record is good so they were always gonna be fine
Tayce - hated it, looked completely unfinished and such a bad material to work with! Why did anyone let her go out like that??
Ellie - I can appreciate it was well constructed but too childish for me. I'm a bit bored of the same makeup too. Tbh I think Ellie's drag is just a bit young for me and not my favourite style.
Bimini - also a bit meh? The hair was messy, the makeup wasn't great either but again they've been brilliant throughout the series so they deserve to be there.
Sister - this look was A LOT and its the classic design challenge mistake... She did waaaay too much! I noticed she posted her photoshoot for this look which has been refined and looked so much better. I get what she was trying to do but less would have been more.
Awhora - absolutely amazing and one of the best design challenge looks I've seen. Can't fault it at all and I loved it.
 
Fun episode /challenge although some bitterness. Awhora baiting Sister who in turn picked on Ellie Diamond because she's an easy target. The high spirited humour on the judges' table was a welcome contrast. Looking forward to seeing Alan Carr mentoring the comedy challenge next week!
 
I really enjoyed Sister Sister in this episode, and the bantering with A'whora. Aye the look was A LOT but the idea was good and she did well wi it, it was just too much.

A'whora's look was fantastic. The arms reminded me of a scene in Jurassic Park lol.

Just a nice fun episode.

Tayce cutting herself into tatters for that? Not worth it hen
